“Very interesting tour”
Reviewed 11 November 2013

The glow worm cave tour is excellent. It is a must do at Mt Tamborine. In the caves, it feels as if you are looking a the galaxy stars. Plenty of tiny glows around. The caves can be really dark to navigate. Worth the value to know what's a glow worm is like, similar to fireflies.

“Magical”
Reviewed 10 November 2013 via mobile

Went as part of a tour. The guide was fabulous and was a distant relation to the gentleman whom discovered the cave. Seeing nature up so close the stalagmites and stalactites were huge. Then the best bit on a boat and sailing through the glow worm caves truly looked like a starry night sky. Breathtaking and a must whilst in the area. We had a buffet lunch and that was tasty and filling.

“Awesome for family”
Reviewed 24 October 2013

Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Beautiful gardens, reasonable prices, kids loved the glow worms, very friendly knowledgeable tour guide. Tours run every 1/2 hour so not massive groups. Overall was a joy to go visit.

“SIMPLY FASINATING”
Reviewed 13 October 2013

Wow what an interesting place. You get to do a guided tour and it is so amazing. It is dark and slippery so you need good footwear. The staff are very informative and helpful. The area is nice to relax in after the tour, a nice lake where you can see wildlife and we even saw a water dragon. On site there is a nice wine tasting place too. Well worth a visit.

“Nice caves - Tour too short”
Reviewed 7 October 2013

Took the family to the glow worm caves recently and we found the destination without any problem, there was plenty of on site parking and the office was easy to locate on site.

Cost was reasonable but could have been better if family packages were offered. Tours were every 1/2 hour and the tour guide we had was informative but the presentation was a bit clinical.

The Cave was well setup and the DVD presentation at the start was very good - cave was small as that's why the groups are kept small. The information was interesting but we were pushed along a bit as another group was coming up behind us. No time for Q&A and that disappointed the kids.
