“The perfect, secluded, romantic getaway.”
Reviewed 26 October 2009

I just wanted to say thank you for the absolutely wonderful time we had staying at Witches Falls Cottages. It's both one of the nicest and friendliest places we have been and you were both so welcoming. We are really looking forward to coming to stay again when we are able to, for longer hopefully!

The cottage was absolutely delightful set in a beautiful rainforest, it was both cosy and secluded yet felt very spacious and friendly. The breakfast hamper was delicious and the David and Daniella were extremely happy and provide a vegetarian option for us without any issues.

Thank you again.

We stayed at the Witches Falls Cottages and had a lovely weekend getaway. The cottages are close to all the attractions/wineries/restaurants of Mt Tamborine. The hosts, David and Daniela were very nice and down to earth. The highlight of the cottages are the spa bathrooms and breakfast hampers. What more can I say...

We stayed at the Witches Falls Cottages in August for a birthday getaway and it more than exceeded our expectations. The Mt Tambourine are itself is just beautiful, and we preferred it to Maleny, Montville etc. The rainforest walks, within a short stroll from Witches Falles, are gorgeous. Great paths, interesting scenery, lots of differtent flora as well as lyre birds and pademelons- it was just perfect. And so much less frequented by tourists than Maleny and Montville, when we were there.

The cottages are just perfect if you're looking for down to earth luxury. Each separate peaked roof cottage is private, and surrounded by garden. The interior was great, wooden floors (loved the wood fire) and the bathroom was perfect- glass sided with a private garden which is backed by a substantially high timber fence so no one can see in. Great spa, and the back garden (which is again protected by a high timber fence) was such a gorgeous place to have breakfast.

The hosts are so welcoming and provide you with as much information as you want about the surrounds. We had dinner at Songbirds which was just what we wanted on that occasion.

The only improvement I would recommend is to increase the amount of storage space in the cottages- a chest of drawers would make a big difference. We were only here over night but if we were there longer I would have found it irritating not having anywhere to put our clothes etc. There is a hanging rack but we didn't find it substantial enough, with walkign gear, some winter clothes and other items.

That said, we will definately be back to stay in this little wonderland and would highly recommend it.

We have stayed at Witches Falls Cottages several times now and each time have enjoyed a weekend away from our normal routine lives. It's within walking distance to antique stores, wineries, restaurants and bush walks.
A lovely place to relax - a home away from home. Great breakfasts - love the home baked bread!

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at witches falls cottages for two nights. Upon arrival it was a warm welcome and shown information on the beautiful surroundings of Tamborine. The cottage was lovely and the courtyard was gorgeous- especially good to sit out in the morning sun enjoying the beautiful BBQ breakfast hamper delivered to your cottage in the morning. The bathroom was fantastic- with a view of the sky from your spa.
The location of the cottages allows you to enjoy the beautiful rainforest walks, whilst also having great cafes, pubs all in a few minutes drive.
We enjoyed our visit to Witches Falls Cottages very much and plan on returning again.

Having just bought a new car my wife and I decided to have a three week driving holiday. A "lap" taking in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, mostly staying in B&B's and Self contained cottages. After several disasters in three states we were getting quite nervous at the end of each days travel. What a welcome relief it was arriving at Witches Falls Cottages on Mount Tamborine. The cabins, The atmosphere, The people running the place - Fantastic!
The unexpected bonus was the breakfast... We normally try to escape to a coffee shop but when the home baked hot bread and condiments arrived we were hooked! We'll be back!

we chose this location because we had stayed at these cottages before. The first time we went there it was yet to be refurbished, and we loved it then and on this occasion everything was brand new and fantastic.
We couldnt be happier with witches falls cottages, it's our favourite place to stay and we wouldnt go any where else. The breakfast hampers are so romantic and the new bathrooms are exquisite. The glass walls, large spa and open shower are so perfect for a romantic evening.
It was the perfect place to spend our first night as a married couple. We have never had any problems with the cottages or the staff. It's rustic and romantic the way it should be when your staying in the mountains, with so many natural charms and a real treat.
