Lovely B&B only thing was it was difficult to locate as no clear sign that it was this property minus the house sign outside! No mention of the Bed & Breakfast. I was staying for business purposes and bed was very comfortable. Was unable to connect to wifi luckily could get 3G on my I pad to bump to laptop. Thank you for the hospitality. Remember cash or cheques to pay too!

Recently took some clients to stay at Duncot in the exquisite village of Burton. They were absolutely delighted with the reception they received from the Owner, Mary Walton. The rooms were spotless, bathrooms luxurious and beds comfortable. Breakfast again was delicious with most of the food sourced locally. There is an unhurried ambience to this charming B and B. The views over the fields and Estuary to Wales are spectacular. My clients cannot wait to come back just to stay at Duncot!

A real gem of a place for R and R. The spanking new and remarkably tasteful rooms have some very thoughtful extras including home-made biscuits. Host Mary provides a fab breakfast and much needed TLC.

This totally unique B&B is an exquisite little gem. Situated in a perfectly gorgeous and historic Cheshire Village, it has charm, elegance and luxurious comfort. The owner, Mary, has very recently opened for business having refurbished the cottage to a very high standard. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and are contemporary, tranquil and very comfortable. The bed, pillows and bedding were gorgeous and I had an excellent night's sleep. The en suite shower room also is beautifully appointed and everywhere was immaculately clean. There is a very elegant sitting room with a TV for guests (in addition to having your own flat screen TV in your bedroom), and you can choose to eat at the Dining table or at the large farmhouse style kitchen table which has a lovely and far reaching view across open countryside and over The River Dee to North Wales.

Mary is very hospitable and welcoming and rustles up an excellent hearty cooked breakfast to your specific requirements using locally sourced high quality and very fresh ingredients. Freshly brewed coffee and home made marmalade adds to the delights if her breakfast table.

I will definitely be staying again and highly recommend this little treasure to all women travelling either for business or leisure as a perfectly delightful and elegant safe haven.

There are many lovely places to visit within a very short drive of Burton too, such as Ness Gardens, Parkgate, and of course the historic city of Chester.
