It's rare in this day and age to find somewhere that you feel instantly comfortable and welcomed in. Staff are always under pressure to perform, too many people to deal with or are just plain not interested. None of these things are applicable here. We are always greeted with a warm smile, a lovely hello and we feel wanted and welcomed. The dining room is small, and there in lies its appeal, you are looked after almost on a one on one basis. The staff are interested and attentive, with excellent product knowledge and the owners/chef is approachable, passionate and cares deeply about your experience there. The food is always gorgeous, every effort is made to source the best ingredients and prepare them to their very best. I can highly recommend the haddock buritos and thrice cooked chips, they are amazing and i am informed by my wife that the burger is one of the best she has had. A truly wonderful dining experience with amazing food and interested and attentive staff. A must see in this age of prepackaged, ship 'em in, ship 'em out society, a little piece of first class, secluded in the depths of Yorkshire. Thank you.
