I stayed here in August while visiting family nearby, just as a B&B guest so I can't comment on the pottery classes. (sorry about the late write up!).

I was pleased to have discovered this gem of a place after all these years. The barn conversion I stayed in was very comfortable and tastefully decorated to a high standard. Spotlessly clean too. Although travelling alone, I was made to feel very welcome by the delightful Yoka and her family.

It is located at the end of a long single track, through a magical wood with beautiful valley and hill views along the way. It does feel quite isolated especially when driving at night. But it's still only 15 minutes drive from Carmarthen.

I would certainly recommend a stay here.

WOW! What a great place, so clean and welcoming. Yoka and Bryan were excellent hosts. We had a day of pottery we thoroughly enjoyed and then spent the night in a wonderful converted barn. The views were some of the best in Wales we saw. We would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone!

This August we spent several days in Carmarthenshire, Wales, and were very happy to have booked a room at Siramik. We stayed in one of the four very comfortable rooms in a beautifully restored old barn on Yoka's and Bryan's farm in the midst of green hills.
There is tea, cookies and fresh fruit in the room, something - coming from the continent - we really appreciate.
Breakfast is served in the farm house in a nice dining room. You feel like being part of the family!
Yoka also has her pottery-studio in the barn and we had nice conversations with her on art and life.
We enjoyed our stay a lot!

We visit Siramik in August and we had a great time. Yoka and Bryan did a great job rebuilding an old shed into a very nice B&B, with all the luxery and comfort you need. We stayed with 4 persons, two adults and two childeren. The kids had a separat room, next to the adults. They also had the time of their live. Going into the woods for a nice, exciting walk down to the small river. And in the area are a lot of things to do for them. We also created our own pot, with the good tution from Yoka.
Thank you very much Yoka and Bryan for your hospitality. We will never forget.

This is the theme of Yoka, the owner of B&B Siramik who we met in Aberystwyth on the potters festival, juli the 1st 2011.
We also are potters and we where traveling Wales searching for potters and there crafts.
After a little chat with Yoka we immediately made the dicision to look for her B&B after the event. To find Siramik we had to climb up to a hill for 2,5 km (sorry we are thinking in kilometers).
After 1,5 km you think they are joking on us, but then when you readched the top you will be flabbergasted. What a view, then a warm warm welcome, a perfect room in witch you can spend time also when its raining. A lot of details make your stay comfortable.
For us a good bed is very important, well is was that good we stayed 4 nights. What can we say more!!!!!! Yoka you have a perfect workshop and are a gifted potter, your skils as a hostess are great.
Your contentment about who you are and what you build together with Brayn, made me thinking about my own life.

Yoka and Brayn, Thanks for your hospitality and letting us be part of your beautiful spot on top of de hill, where only the best is good enough. We will be back!!! Anton en Hennie. Sorry for my bad english.

Set in the heart of the Welsh countryside, accommodation is in a tastefully decorated, very comfortable stone barn conversion with private parking and ensuite facilities. The lady who runs it is the most welcoming and friendly person you could hope to meet. Nothing is too much trouble for her. I stayed with my 10 year old daughter, whose comment was "I felt like she was part of my family!". Yoka also runs pottery courses from this location and we took a taster course whilst we were there. It was great fun and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both the pottery and the b&b.

No really, you must go here and as soon as possible. What's not to like? Fabulous room, super comfy bed, and the Welsh cakes are a lovely touch.

The pottery course is a must do. I have never had so much fun in a single afternoon. Yoka is not only a gifted potter, but a fantastic and inspiring teacher.

I'd be back in a shot!
