have been in amor for a night on business and found it as nice resort type hotel......very good value for money and if you look for family type resort, this is what you can expect....decent meals and very helpful staff make your stay pleasant.....however....room didnt have "do not disturb sign" and cleaning service has started at very early hours .....before 8......this should not happen in relax family hotel......probably shall be back on business again.......

Room Tip: all ok......nothing noisy around.....

Although I usually enjoy staying in smaller hotels with more personal approach, but hotel Amor is a nice hotel with clean, spacious rooms and professional staff.
You can reach the beach within few minutes by walking through lovely garden.

I was at many 4 and 5 star hotels in the world but I never saw so many disadvantages. The breakfast is just from 8 am until 9 am and it is very poor ( without croissants, cakes, with poor salami and only one typevof cheese). The dinner is just from 7.30 pm until 8.00 pm.
The rooms arevspacious but with many disadvantages - in our room the curtains were broken, after we told this to receptionist the fixed it, but our friend didn't have a light in bathroom and the receptionist told him that it is weekend and the repairer don't work.
The biggest problem in Croatia is the fact that hoteliers think that beautiful sea, beaches, pines are enough for tourist which is not true. Hotel Amor has a potential but they have to work a lot.

The hotel is very well situated on the edge of the town and right next to the beach with its beautifully clear water. Our 2 rooms were very clean, well decorated, most pleasant but there was a difference in size. The food in the restaurant was competent buffet style, rather than brilliant. Breakfast was good and in the evening the made in front of you meals were a good idea, as were the pizzas made freshly. Lovely home made bread. The staff were unfailingly helpful, efficient and pleasant. The little pool was very well maintained and the whole of the reception area was very pleasant. We loved the situation of the hotel and the rest of the complex was very nice being so close to the sea and a very good beach side bar/ restaurant.

Room Tip: Rooms in the original block are bigger than the newer side extension

Never been to Croatia, would definitely visit again. We had a room in the Velaris complex with a balcony and sea view close to the beach. The sea was visible through the trees, which also provided much needed shade from the heat of the mid day sun. The beach is stones so sea shoes are a must and rent a sun lounger if expenses run to it otherwise you can buy padded mats from the stalls along the road to make it more comfortable. The sea is beautifully clean and clear, never seen such an azure blue sea, and we were advised that temperatures this summer were warmer that usual and the sea was blissfully warm. The complex is around a ten minute walk from Supetar harbour where there are plenty of shops and restaurants if you don't want to eat in the hotel. The dining room is in its own area, food choices were many and varied, lots of fresh fruit, salad, home made bread and home made meals, salad and pizza oven in use every evening making fresh delicious pizza. Some of the food was a little strange to an English palette but tasty and plentiful all the same. The room was clean and functional, and cleaned daily by a lovely chambermaid. Towels were replenished daily if wanted. Fabulous air con a must with the high temperatures. Never used the swimming pool so cant comment. Weekly entertainment with a local singing duo was very pleasant. Great relaxing holiday.

Wifi is not in room.If you come with car you must pay parking 3 euro /day for nothing (non regulated parking on gravel and sun)
