We found this place after reading a friend's recommendation on his blog and the reviews here on TripAdvisor. I was a bit skeptical as there were so few but a friend's recommendation can usually be trusted. Hence we booked a room. In short, we ended up staying a day later, were allowed to stay in the same larger room although we asked to move to a smaller room. The lower price was given to us without having to move. Although not directly on the beach, this is a great boutique hotel. Located in the middle of their own vineyard, it has the charm of any place in Italy or Napa. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I wish I had remembered specific names but everyone was great. The girl serving both at dinner and breakfast both days we were there was a delight. The reception always had a smile and was ready to help out with requests and advice. The rooms are super modern, clean and usable. We had a huge bed which was fun and everything we needed was available in the room. One drawback was that their wLan in the lobby kept getting cut off but this was a problem on the provider's end and not the hotel's fault. If you go, make sure to try their wine. We loved their chardonnay which they only started producing in 2007. We also adored the outdoor patio for drinks and appetizers plus the restaurant was great. Breakfast on the terrace was the highlight every morning. Make sure to look for some kind of package deals as I am sure you can find cheaper rates that way as opposed to simply walking in like we did but after some shady places we visited on our travels through Croatia, this was a true relief and a great find, regardless of the price.
