difficult access through narrow and steep streets, hotel is looking tired, with outdated furnishing and decor, very small swimming pool, the bedroom with strange headboard,( designed to take 3 beds next to one another ?) basic beds and bathroom lacking the usual plastic glasses for toothbrushes and pack of tissues, also very poor lighting.
The food served on the terrace was adequate, the room service seemed to be erratic with the glasses from the drink taken on our terrace in the evening, were still there the following morning.

this hotel in my view should be a 2 stars, not 3

A really comfortable and tranquil country hotel, in a charming village near to Uzes. Very friendly, complete with a dog to play with in the foyer. The room we had, 10, was really generously sized, with a large balcony overlooking the garden. Aperitifs were enjoyed there, and we had a great dinner on the terrace; the half board would be a good choice. If you wanted to get picky, you could say the breakfast was a bit low on choice, with the only poor coffee we came across in France. But with a great deal through Booking.com it was excellent value overall.

Room Tip: Size of balconies various from titchy to generous, so if that's important ask.

The owners are really hospitable, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, cool and had a great view on the garden and swimmingpool. We stayed for 3 nights in the first week of August and had all our dinners in the hotel-restaurant, we can recommend the food and the atmosphere.

We definitely recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: A room with a terrace is the most pleasant.

We stayed for 10 nights in this family-run very cosy and quiet hotel. It is a wonderful place to rest and enjoy the close-by scenery of the Gard. A friendly welcome when entering the hotel, assistance with our luggage by the owner himself, a nice and large room, in short : a perfect start for a relaxing stay. The owners make you feel at home at once. The owners and the staff are very friendly and are at your assistance at any time. We only booked our stay with breakfast, but the restaurant serves excellent food in the evening. I happen to travel a lot for business, but I can certainly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We had a great time at this small, typical French, adorable hotel.

Le Clos des Pradines in perched above the village and is reached by very narrow streets! However when you get there it has a good car park and great views towards Uzes from the rooms and gardens. Being a Relais du Silence it is lovely and quiet. We just stopped over for one night so chose a basic room, but the rooms with balconies or terrace would be a good choice for a longer stay. The restaurant was fine and the service attentive. The pool area is quite small but the surrounding gardens are very well kept. The owners/staff seemed to be making real efforts to please. This would be a good base for a longer stay - we will return.

Room Tip: Rooms with terrace or balcony would be a good choice for a stay longer than a couple of nights

I spent a weekend there. There is a new management. They really want the guests to be happy. The place is nice, the view is nice and we can walk to the village from there. This is a spot and it is easy to visit the region from le Clos des Pradines.

We arrived late evening. Due to many guests, staff has been extremely busy. Despite this situation we had a very warm welcome and kind assistance with parking our car and taking care of our (heavy) baggage.
Our room was large, nicely decorated, and had a beautiful view via the hotel´s own swimming pool to the mountains.
The owner found some space for us in the very busy restaurant despite our late arrival, and managed to serve a high quality dinner without showing any hurry.
In our opinion, this hotel/restaurant is to be highly recommended to all, who are looking for some calm and quiet athmosphere without wanting to miss a high quality hotel and restaurant. Should we have the possibility to get close to this area again, we certainly will try to book there.
