“Wonderful Holiday”

Warm friendly welcome from Daphne. This is a spacious, comfortable, rustic French house in a private historic courtyard. It has a mix of styles and levels and plenty of quiet corners.
It is set in a lovely rural part of France within walking distance of the Abbey and gardens of
Valloires. There is a restaurant opposite and a small Auberge down the road for those who wish to eat out. The house has everything needed for a lovely relaxing holiday. The joy for us was watching the bats and owls fly in the courtyard at night.

“Beautiful property, wonderful location. Rural France an hour's drive from the Eurotunnel terminal”

Our 5th stay in this lovely property-the word Gite does not do it justice, it's a character filled and comfortable converted stable block, which was originally part of the Chateau next door. We keep coming back to this well equipped property as we love the comfort and charm as well as the location. We have had great weather both visits this year (May & September) Many a pleasant hour has been spent sitting out in the grassed courtyard with a glass or two of wine! Once the sun has set & if it gets cooler, we light the woodburner and relax in the lounge. We have brought our 85 year old mum over a couple of times and the downstairs bedroom with adjacent loo & bathroom is ideal for her.
Argoules is a pretty village & we love the stunning gardens at the Abbaye De Valloires just at the other end of the village. Tom & Daphne the owners are welcoming, helpful and kind.
We've just booked to return next May! Can't wait!

“An excellent place to stay and relax”

This was the perfect place to see in the New Year celebrations for our friends 'getaway'! Argoules is a lovely village, ideal for relaxing but with plenty of places to stroll. The house is stunning, set in some really impressive surroundings, and immaculately presented.

Very conveniently placed for exploring the larger towns of Montreuil and Amiens. We also took a day trip to Paris, to take in EuroDisney, which was easy and great fun.

The owners were very accommodating and provided us with everything we needed for the stay.

All in all, an excellent find; we'll certainly be coming back!

“A perfect place to come and relax with family”

I think this is one of the best places we went with my family to relax yet only a few hours away from London. The house is located in a wonderful French countryside with great market nearby and all shops just a drive away. The couple running Les Ecuries made our stay so pleasant, with wonderful welcome gift and making sure we have everything we need.
