Wow! What a stunning location for an animal park! Sweeping views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding mountains, well worth the 1km uphill walk from the car park to the park entrance (there's a disabled only car park much nearer). The park is very well maintained. None of the animals are penned in and they have a huge amount of space to live in, We were there on a hot afternoon (30 degrees C in Chamonix) and the animals were incredibly happy for us to wander around - the Marmots came right up to people and were pretty hilarious. Deer casually strolled by. It was such a relaxing place to be in a fabulous setting. Price is extremely reasonable, although the cafe less so (£3 for 330ml Coke - but then you are 1500m altitude and have no other options!). Our 4 children aged 4, 8, 12 and 15 absolutely loved this place.
