Stayed there for a night when visiting friends in Heidelberg. The place is clean and nice, but not worth the 4-stars. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nothing really positive or negative to say about the hotel or room itself. It's 15 km away from Heidelberg and a lot less expensive than all the tourist hotels there.

The only negativ aspect was that we had to pay 15,- EUR on top for having a dog with us. I called beforehand and asked if dogs were allowed - the answer way a simple yes, without mentioning the additional fee.

We stayed here for one night as a stopover on our way by car to the Austrian alps.
The hotel is quite close to the highway. Next to the hotel is a cheap supermarket, we were also offered a map of the town of Ladenburg, so there's obviously something to see but we didn't go there.

Some pro's:
-staff was friendly and helpful
-everything was very, very clean (except for the minibar which was a little sticky inside)
-close to the highway
-had a very good last-minute rate for this hotel

some con's:
-only one staffmember available at check inn, took a long time before we could check inn
-room was quite hot, aircon didn't really seem to cool, so we opened the window
-we had one of the last 'free' parking spots at the hotel, other parking option was to park in a payed garage, at a remote location like this all parking schould be free
-we were given a corner room with an impossible curtain kind of thing that was impossible to close
-quite noisy early in the morning when the supermarket got stocked
-very soft matrasses, thin pillows
-low water pressure in the shower in the morning

For the rate we got, this hotel was a good option, but because of the 'con's' in the room, we weren't as fresh the next morning as we had hoped for the rest of our journey.

We stayed here in order to visit the Grand Prix in Hockenheim. The hotel is four star but I would say it is more like three star. The reception area is nice but the rooms are quite dated. No shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom, no safe in the room and wi-fi is not free. We used public transport to get between Ladenburg and Mannheim and Hockenheim. It involves three trains to get to Hockenheim. Although not expensive (15.20 euros for up to 5 people for 24 hours) it is time consuming. If you are going to the grand prix you would better placed to stay in Mannheim as the train goes direct to Hockenheim from there. The hotel was fine for somewhere to sleep but other than that, it was no frills. Staff were very pleasant, both cleaning staff and on reception. We had room service one evening and the quality of the food was very poor.

We stayed one night and this hotel is old and a little tired. My only issue was that they still use shower curtains and as you may know, shower curtains are often very dirty as they dont get cleaned properly and everything sticks to it. And ours was a little dirty, with the curtain blowing against you from a little wind while you are showering which was disgusting. The bed was small and too soft but clean. The buffet breakfast was ok and dinner was mediocre - nothing fancy, just a simple meal.

The hotel is located in between Mannheim & Heidelberg in a small town called Ladenberg. Not a problem if you are a tourist and have a car with you. Mainly, you find the Japanese tourists in the hotel. The ladenberg city centre is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
Breakfast is reasonable.

Note: Internet is not free at the hotel, which is a surprise now a days.

Room Tip: Not much difference.

The hotel is modern and the rooms contain 2 single beds. We stayed here for a 2 day business meeting. The meals were very variable. The lunches were great but the dinners tasted like they were made in a different kitchen. The airco in the meeting room was a bit undersized, even in the cold time of the year. Nothing fancy but also not bad.
The hotel is a bit outside of the city of Ladenburg, which has a very nice center.
