This is a charming and very informative museum and worth the trip from Freiburg. Our sons aged 14, 18 and 21 got a bit bored, but we enjoyed it thoroughly and would have stayed longer. The admission price was a reasonable 10 euros for the five of us.The exhibits were well organized and displayed, and the museum had an English version of the guidebook that we could use. The notes were informative without being too technical. I had a great time.

It was great experience to visit this museum. 2 hours weren't enough for us to see everything. There are a large collection of clocks from different centuries, history brochures with very interesting facts, musical clocks hall (demonstration each hour) and more. Highly recommended for all Schwarzwald visitors.

Oh! Very interesting indeed.Beautiful workmanship. We thoroughly enjoyed the day.100's of fantastic clocks,my husband would have bought one but could have been a problem to get it home.We heard the massive clock outside,at the front of the building (biggest in the black forest)chime, and figures moved about, surreal.Another clock at the back of the building was working for us too, with figures moving around for us to see.Magnifiscent

We had a guide that hurried through some of the exhibits and spent way too much time on exhibits of little interest to a clockmaker.

Had visited this place a decade ago but what an experience it was. the cuckoo clocks we bought from there still work. The black forest pastry we had was also awesome. Nice visit and dont miss out on it for sure.
