We were in such high spirits when we visited this restaurant as it was choosen for my BD ! Having a 5 Star, was what one would expect to be high standard ! Well Sorry NO WAY !

The moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted and seated without being asked for our coats to be taken, so we put them on the extra chair we had at our table. We were just asked which table we preferred but then left without knowing if we were to expect coffee to be served or if a waiter would be taking care of us, we had no clue what so ever!

So we looked around at the other tables to see what the other guests were doing, then 10 minutes after we saw the waiter approaching the tables in an un distinguished way, so we waved to him to capture his attention and he asked us; If we wanted coffee, by holding a jug of coffee in his hands, with no napkin!!! It was hard to distinguish if he was a guest or a waiter...

We then walked ourselves through the buffet, not really knowing what to do...And asked the waitress behind the hot dishes at the buffet, where the eggs could be found? She kindly informed us that these were to be ordered and took care of telling the kitchen herself.

A moment later the lady then who greeted us at the entrance, appeared with my eggs and brought them to my table, which was rather surprising. I then looked for some salt and pepper which you would expect would be easy to find or at least put laid on the table, so as there wasn't any available anywhere...While my eggs were getting cold I approached the waitress behind the hot dishes at the buffet to ask her for some salt and pepper, she then told me that she would have to ask the kitchen and a few minutes later a waiter came to bring me the salt and pepper, there wasn't any brown rolls available either, it was very disappointing, our dirty dishes were also not taken away properly, the impression was that the restaurant staff did not have a clue of their role and to find this in such a high standard restaurant is rather disgraceful. Won't be going again, by the way sent an email to the mgmt who only bothered to reply to me after several reminders, to reply we take note and hope this will not happen again, how charming !

Room Tip: If you want to have quality for your money (expensive) don't go !

My sister and I got a special offer and really enjoyed our stay.

The spa area was very nicely done and very clean. There were very few guests the day we stayed which was nice but also meant that sometimes we needed to go looking for staff.

Overall great stay for a few relaxing days.
