My family and I moved from Leipzig to Frankfurt about 18 months ago and I can tell you that we were pretty unhappy about this move. In Leipzig we were regular visitors of the Gourmetage.
About a year ago we found Tuttolomondo just by chance because the place is not located on one of the main roads of Kelkheim. Since that time we come here pretty regularly on Fridays. Tuttolomondo is not a standard restaurant, more an Italian deli place where you can buy wine, Italian cheese and ham and Italian delicatessen. You sit in the middle of wine shelves. The ambience is warm and cozy. The owners (Enzo and David) and the staff (especially Miro) are exceptionally friendly/warm/welcoming even if you are a newcomer and even if you choose to just have a glass of wine. Mama cooks typical Italian food. Our daughter just loves the Lasagne with an amazing tomato sauce. My husband and I take whatever is available on the daily menu and we were never disappointed. The wine selection includes wines of all price categories. Just name it! Miro and Enzo know our wine taste by now and we never regretted their recommendation.
All in all a great place to go outside of the noisy and hectic Frankfurt with a mostly low service and high price level. We love to spend our money at Tuttolomondo because we are treated as a valued customer.
You can also plan your birthday with friends/family or lunch/dinner with business friends. There is a room in the back with seating space for about 25-30 people.
