Have visited this Bay before and we never cease to appreciate the beauty of this Bay. Could stay forever, the peace and tranquillity, and natural beach is breathtaking.

“Amazing beach, stunning scenery!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014

An amazing beach! Access from Keel via a steep drive up over the mountains with stunning scenery all around. The beach was deserted at 10a.m. and never really got 'crowded'. Lovely sand and the water was warm - even in August!

“Further away and worth it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 August 2014

We went to see the penal alter (which is up the hill past the toilets, near the white house) but decided to come back. Stunning clear blue water, warmer than most due to the seclusion. Fewer waves than Keel, less jellyfish than on the north side of the island. I went snorkeling, saw crab, lots of fish, starfish, etc. The rest of the family swam and enjoyed the (rare) Irish sun!

“Scary road, fantastic beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2014

Nice unspoilt beach - bring your own lunch! Beach is clean, car park quite small, can imagine on a hot day it may fill up quite fast. Scenery is amazing!

“STUNNING”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2014

After taking in the beautiful views along the winding cliff edge drive towards this beach as you turn the last bend to see this wonderous sight unfold onfront of you it is difficult to believe keem beach has been kept hidden for so many years. It is one of Irelands only untouched beaches there are no houses nearby only mountain and cliff edge clear water and clean sandy beach i will be bringing my kids here for many years to come
thank you mayo
