It's only fair to give credit where credit is due. This restaurant was a great find in lovely Monopoli. The service was attentive, prompt and courteous, in spite of the fact that the restaurant was full to the rafters during both our visits. The food was simple, very well prepared and presented, and delicious from start to finish. The wine was also very good, and refreshingly affordable (7-12 euro per bottle). Overall, this is a competently run place, offering excellent value. The young and friendly staff make it all the more appealing. Monopoli in itself is a wonderful little town, which I look forward to returning to at some point. (We ate to our heart's content and split a bottle of wine for 25 euro each. You could easily spend less, and I find it hard to believe you could possibly spend more than 30 euro per person without overeating.)
