“Puglia Italy got to check it out”
Reviewed 17 January 2014

This hotel was wonderful and a great example of the hospitality in the Puglia region of Italy. The property is renovated farm property with a working Olive grove.
The staff is wonderful and the food was cooked daily and always fresh. We never ate dinner at the hotel but did have breakfast and pool side light meals. The hotel was situated in the ideal location for accessing the various towns and sites that make Puglia so special.

the only thing we did have trouble with was internet, other than that the rooms were comfortable, safe, with great furnishings.

I went with a group of friends to see the region and we all really enjoyed the hotel.
Great pool area for relaxing after a long day of site seeing as well as a small spa

Room Tip: I liked the ground level rooms each had a small seating area outside good for a glass of wine at the...

Dear Guest,

many thanks for your feedback. The wifi is working but maybe you've got a problem with your device. In the future you can ask for help to the staff that is always at your disposal.

Kind regards.

We arrived at this masseria towards the end of our cycling tour with VBT. As reviewed by KenVicLee, it was ideal. The staff greeted us with smiles and pitches of cold drinks...pineapple ??
There were patios and pool side to sprawl, chat and relax. Room/ bathroom....wonderful. Go, you'll like it.

We had two nights here while enjoying a bicycle trip around Puglia. This was a perfect base of operations for our trips out into the olive groves surrounding Otranto.

The rooms all had their own patio or balcony. The bathrooms were good sized with walk-in showers being the highlight. The grounds were encompassed by the aforementioned olive trees. Inside of the hotels grounds was a beautifully maintained pool with an adjacent bar and towel service.

Breakfast was served outside in a covered patio area. The selection was huge and the food was great including fresh baked pastry items. A very pleasant stay at this hotel.

We stayed and ate here for two nights in mid-September while exploring southern Puglia. It's a brilliant location, but you must have a car (which you can park under an olive tree for shade). The ambience, room, service and restaurant (alfresco) were excellent. The service at dinner seemed to work on the more relaxed 'Puglia time', so I wouldn't have wanted to try the restaurant in high season when the place is full, but the wine the waiter recommended was superb and the food cooked to perfection. It was perfect for us as a couple, out of high season, but I would not go there with young children or in the busy season.

Room Tip: Standard rooms are more than adequate if you simply want to rest or sleep there. All rooms overlook...

I have stayed at the Tenuta a couple of years back for my first wedding night (I got married close to the hotel) and it was absolutely wonderful. I came back this year to have dinner with some friends who were staying there. The place is as romantic and magical as I remembered but the food was just outstanding. They have a new chef, Massimo, who worked even at Zafferano in London, and has now taken over. Well, he is amazing. If you are tired of traditional Italian food you can stop there and try his contemporary take on it. All is very fresh local and sustainable. And the staff is soooooo nice. I can't wait to go back!

We did a longer trip in Puglia in July. We stayed in three different accomodations. Tenuta centoporte was the last one. First, we can not follow the good reviews at tripadvisor. So without question, tenuta centoporte is a nice place. Nice garden, restaurant and pool area.
In comparison with the other accomodations (both were masserias, same price!) tenuta is really absolut average!
The rooms have a balcony or small terrace, but you don't have any privacy! The neighbour is directly next to you, he can look into your room when he wants. (In all rooms the same)
A horror for sleeping are the very thin walls! You hear everything from the other rooms (also when the neighbours are talking!)!!! I could not sleep without earplug!
At the pool there are fix pool times! So we could not go swim before breakfast because the pool area open at 10 a.m. In the other accomodations we could go swim when we wanted to swim!!!
Last night we had a 3-course-menu. We have been very excited but sorry, it was really more than average! The pasta was to much boiled, the fish tasted like gum, this for 35 Euro!

In all, the tenuta is nothing for individual tourists. You are absolut a number for the staff. The staff is nice but not exerted!
Conclusio:
Tenuta is a good accomodation for a package tour with children, but not for people who love outstanding travelling with at once high comfort!

We spent six nights at te hotel.
The hotel is located very close to Otranto and it is surrounded by a sea of olive trees. Garden meticolously maintained with super clean swimmingpool.
Room very clean and nice with arge bathroom and a walk-in closet.
Personnel very friendly. Romantic restaurant with good menu and tasty food. The choice of dishes in the menue is suficient to eat there for two or three nights without having to take the same dish again. Price adequate to the quality of the place. Worth a detour.
