If you ask for a sea view you will be quite happy. Be advised that you will have to carry your bags up a substantial staircase. The room is a nice size, very clean, with a large bathroom and shower. The breakfast terrace is lovely. Parking can be a problem. You must park outside of the historic center and walk back with your baggage. If you don't have wheeled luggage this is not the place for you.

Beautiful boutique hotel tucked into the medieval walls of Otranto. Elegant but comfy furnishings, most rooms are all white with a fashionable color accent. Breakfast with homemede cakes on terrace overlooking the port. Got a lot of good recommendations from the owner on what beaches, restaurants, etc. to go to. We even prolonged our stay because we liked the place so much. Parking is a bit tricky - either you walk thru the old town or you schlepp your luggage up the wooden stairs on the other side if the center - but the place is sure worth this little inconvenience. On booking you get a cellphone number, as the front desk is not always manned - well, it's a B&B and not the Grand Hotel ;-) We found the rates reasonable, considering the beautiful location, it's elegance and cleanness - the place was always spotless. They run a country hotel/Masseria further inland as well - also a fab hotel to stay.

We spent there only 1 night, the rooms are tastefuly decorated and the view on the port is fantastic. The B&B is in the lovely old town of Otranto. I wish we could have spent more time in Otranto and in the B&B.

We booked 3 nights in this hotel. We booked rooms with sea view, they did not have views of the sea but of roofs.
We arrived in the town at 7.00pm and only then did I realise the Palazzo de Mori was in the old town and parking was only available some considerable distance away. Not easy when you have a 20Kg bag to drag around the streets. This houl be made clear to potential customers at booking stage
It was the end of the season but if charging full rates it was disappointing to find acess via a locked gate and no staff on duty except for breakfast.
On the second night I found myslef leaving 4 other newcomers in through the gate!
Not my favourite place on this trip.

We came for one night, and stayed for two as we liked it so much. Lovely, stylish accommodation in the heart of Otranto, with fabulous views from the large terrace (where we had breakfast this morning and a liesurely glass of wine this evening, with the rest of the day spent exploring the southern tip of Puglia).

As others have said - you can't bring cars into the old town, but we were able to park nearby at the Port; and you need to arrange an arrival time with the owner. We did this by phone while driving to Otranto. Neither 'difficulty' caused us any trouble.

Our room was realtively small, but very stylishly furnished. And the bathroom had a truly fantastic power shower!

A great place to stay while in Otranto, and from which to explore the area.

It has been over a year since out trip and I am just getting around to doing a review. First off, I wish we spoke Italian! However we made due and I couldn't have been happier with our stay. The town and the B&B were perfect. A couple notes: please make sure you have arranged your arrival as we were very lucky to catch them with another couple. Also once you enter the walls of the town of Otranto, it can be a challenge to find the B&B. You will be on foot as no cars go within the walls of the Old Town. I wish I had time to write a deserving review. Bottom line I would return again and again as the value is there and the location is top notch!
