Modern development with cluster of 'villas' split into rooms and apartments. Our room was clean, nicely furnished and on the ground floor next to the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was a shame that we stayed only one night.

hi stayed in the Terradimare resort in middle of July with friends and reading the review i really don't understand all the fuss.
The hotel is very close to San Teodoro Village, 15/20 mins walking max and close to a very big supermarket and they are running a free shuttle to the beach so what you want more?
the reception staff, all of them and specially Simona, they were always kind and very helpfull where ever you need , they send us to very nice restaurants and book for us.
The girls work at breakfast they were so lovely, and you can ask anytime you want coffee or drink, and big thank you to Valentina that she was so nice and give so many advice.
Antonietta, the cleaner, what a lovely lady, always smiling and clean the room even when wasnt need it.
Overall my stay at Terradimare resort from the 14 to the 17 was great thank to all the staff.
I raccomented this hotel.

Room Tip: ask for the room close to the pool

As we were a group of 3 adults and a child staying for a week we opted for a one room apartment. Just to be clear the apartments have a separate bedroom, a large living area/kitchenette in which there is a double sofa bed and a bathroom. Whilst a good size the apartment was nothing special. Furniture all about the cheapest you can buy and absolutely no decoration other than the curtains. Given this hotel is aiming to be a cool, Ibiza style resort (chill out music and cocktails by the pool, sun lounges, young attractive staff) I was surprised. I reckon given about €200 I could give an apartment the wow factor. Also, the kitchenette is very small and not all that well equipped so don't expect to be cooking amazing meals. We mainly used the fridge and cooker for breakfast. Other apartment issues: if you're using the sofa bed then there is nowhere to sit other than the kitchen table, lots of wasted space where a nice chair or two could be put, a tiny TV and the bedroom was wired for TV, internet etc (but someone decided not to bother with the actual TV or even a table to put things on) and no WiFi in the rooms or apartments which is really pretty poor these days - they need to sort that out. There are small balconies but they face the car park and a dried up river bed so people only use it for hanging towels. Also the dry creek/river bed might explain the mosquito issues in the apartment - make sure to take some insect repellant. Our daughter got mauled by them! Also, the apartments don't come with any cleaning etc so you'll use the same towels etc for your stay unless you pay extra. So overall apartment score? Probably 2/5.

The hotel itself is actually pretty attractive and the modern reception and pool area are very nice. I thought it a bit strange that guests are given one pool towel to use for the week and if you misplace it then you get charged €30 but it saves on wasteful washing I guess so we were cool with that. Whilst the pool was lovely I have to say it was pretty chilly. The expression on every guest's face as they got in confirmed I wasn't being a baby! The shower before getting in was also brisk. Given they have abundant solar hot water available I would suggest sending some of it to the pool just to take the edge off. But that's not a big deal. The little kids playground is also good for the under 5s (of which there were a few). As for the location well to be honest it's a little strange...kind of in a residential area and there's building work and a few rough looking vacant blocks around but it didn't bother us. It's a good walk to get into town though which is why I would recommend a car if you have kids and maybe even if you don't. But a car is essential if you want to explore some of the amazing beaches in the San Teodoro area. La Cinta beach is probably just walkable (and the hotel apparently has a shuttle) but that's it. Not sure how you would get to the others without one. Although that brings me to the staff...

As others have mentioned, the staff are amazing and would no doubt get you to any beach you wanted as quickly as possible if asked. They are anonymous when need be and attentive and helpful when called upon. All young, enthusiastic and willing to help. Whoever is doing the hiring at this place is in line for a pay rise I reckon. So for the hotel itself I would probably go for a 3/5 but for the staff it is definitely 5/5 which brings my overall score to about 4/5 and on that basis I would probably go back!

We stayed here for three nights in July 2013. Overall we found the customer service to be outstanding. All staff were very friendly and this really made it a very enjoyable experience. Reception speaks good English and nothing was too much trouble. We came without a car and got the bus from Olbia Airport (you can get a couple but the ARST 514 is an option). Buses are operated by different companies, so if you buy a ticket before you board ensure it is for the correct bus operator (you can buy them on the bus, make sure you have change just in case). Buses are cheap and air-conditioned. We used Google Maps to access travel information although they don’t give times for all operators, so there maybe other options. Buses on the island are infrequent, so ensure you get to your stop in good time noting which side of the road you should be waiting on. Don’t be surprised if a bus is 20-30 minutes late. Not really a problem if you’re using them to travel every few days. It is a short walk from the bus stop (maybe 5-10mins max) in a quiet area. They offer a shuttle service to the beach too. Breakfast was one of the best we experienced on the island, with lovely fresh croissants, fruits, eggs, bacon, cereal etc. We found some popular items ran out by about 9.45am (breakfast finished at 10am) so don’t go too late. We are vegetarian and it was not a problem at all. The hotel is clean and quiet. There is a lovely bar area by the pool which serves drinks, ice creams and some bar food. A lovely place to catch a drink before going out in the evening. The bar lady was always friendly and kind, serving us free snacks with drinks. When we said we were veggie, she replaced the snacks to suit our requirements without fuss. There are two good restaurants about 5 minutes away and we got 15% off one of them for being hotel guests. 10 minutes into town, there are loads of restaurants (although we found the entire island does serve a similar menu of Italian staples). I did not use the spa facilities but I did use the small fitness room which has a handful of cardio equipment and some free weights / bench. Small, but enough to keep the fitness levels topped up.

The staff in all departments are some of the best hotel staff I have ever met and are a credit to the hotel along with the spotlessly clean rooms and peaceful feel around the hotel I can highly recommend this hotel. The views and area are beautiful but would suggest a hire car if you want to venture further afield
