A day trip to San Casciano was planned and a friend recommended this restaurant as being new with an experienced owner. Located just south of town on the highway to Greve/Panzano there is ample parking out front. We arrived just a little early (Tuscan time) for lunch and were heartily greeted, seated and feted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Our halting Italian labelled us as touristas but we treated like regulars. A hand printed menu held many Tuscan favourites and we were in the mood for a basic salad and bistecca. Simple enough fare but prepared well and tasty. We will certainly return and try more of their dishes. The decor is fresh and clean and the main room large enough to accommodate larger parties.
