during my trip from trient to milan i found the La Filand restaurant (thanks to the owner that pays to keep all the labels from the main road to the place so reaching it is smoothly to reach the private parking)
the label of the Lion's club gives you the welcome and then you are in the main dining room very beautiful and stylish : the roof is the ancient factory roof with very big wood beams keeping the place warm and nice even if big and very tall. We choose to go outside and the terrace gives you a fantastic view on the lake and the nearer hills.
The owner is a very open and nice person and give you perfect advice of better choice about your taste: our target was a sea fish lunch so he suggested the red Tuna, the Anglerfish and a sea bass baked in foil. The appetizer we choose was a mix of seabass "in carpione" (enjoy to find the translation :o) octopussy with potatoes, swordfish and red tuna "carpaccio", bbq shrimps : we choose to drink a bottle of prosecco from Bolla producer and this was perfect to appreciate the delicate and perfect taste of these fishes.
The red tuna is special because the chef keeps the quite raw inside the tuna steak instead outside is perfectly crispy and covered with a delicate little spicy sauce that underline the tuna taste.
The Anglerfish was crispy with garlic taste, the consistence was perfect and it finished very fast:0)
The Seabass baked in foil was cooked with mussels and (super fresh tasty perfectly cleaned mussels) shrimps giving a stronger taste to all the plate.
the sweets are totally hand made and we tried an super old style chocolate pie, a perfect tiramisu but my choice is to the "sorbetto della casa" : it is a suprise but there is a pic in attachment.
after a grappa and coffe also the bill came and it was very cheap : 33 euros/person :
the best quality price rate i found in this area !!!!
