This is a nicely done piece of architecture, especially from the exterior. The creek passing through, the sky walks, the lawns, playground etc. were v.nice. We visited during summer, when the hotel is focused on family guests. So in principal. If you want peace and quiet, DO NOT visit the place in the high season. If you are travelling with kids, it’s a great option as they will have many friends to play with and I bet you will not be annoyed by seeing kids running around almost everywhere ;)
For the numerous pros:
- Very tasty breakfast and buffet dinners. Through the week the menu was changing and although there was usually once choice of fish, meat etc. we liked the selection provided
- Very nice swimming pool, again in the summer focused on kids, so it would be hard to swim for adults due to the kids playing around
- Crowded but visible only in the restaurant, as the hotel is actually a set of interconnected buildings we were positively surprised it was so quiet. Again, please ask for rooms away from the main corridors 
- Good location if you plan to visit Jaworzyna Krynicka a few times (walking distance)
- Great staff, especially in the kids area
- Kid’s internal playrooms (there are 2) were great. I was dedicated to board games and had to PS3 with move options (actually good fun for the whole family)
- Nice spacious rooms (we had paid a bit extra for a junior, ideal for 2+2)
- Great idea with Kid’s hotel card game. Collecting points was a clever thing to do. My kids really liked the hotel and even bough the idea of the gummy juice ;) served in the lobby.
- Many daily activities planned for the kids. Unlike many hotels, here this is an almost kindergarden like service with a few memebrs of staff on duty all the time!

Cons:
- Agree that the corridors and sky walks could have been better planned. The idea is grand but the corridor should be more direct. Unfortunately you might need a few elevator rides and walk even 5min to get to the restaurant. (in summer during nice weather, worth to go outside as it’s much quicker)
- Room service, more 3star, the rooms were cleaned, but not in detail. Once we did not get the water, once we did not get our robes back
- For a family hotel, lack of a pure cartoon channel is a small gap (but on the other hand there are better thigs to do)
- No kettle and tee/coffee in the room
- The award for the kids for getting all their stars was a bit dissappointing (lolly pop), yet the idea of the game is a 5 star one

To sum up, great, really great in the summer for families with kids. If you are couple looking for a SPA, run away as you will not find what you are looking for unless you love the presence of kids everywhere ;)

For those from abroad, the negative comments I noticed reffer to a period where the owner visited the hotel. He is known for lack of business ethics and overall lack of propriety so do not get distracted. Think of the great staff who is employed thanks to your visit, a bit less who get's most of the dollars.

Room Tip: Chose a room between the restaurant building and SPA building, for example B or C :)

Szanowny Panie Wolszczak,

We spent one week in that hotel in November during the slowest season possible. All nearby restaurants were closed except for weekends and most od the time there were only 2 or 3 couples at breakfast. Hotel is new and beautiful with good faciluties. Breakfast was delicious. Excellent choice and very good quality. When there was not many guests the breakfast was served to the table but the choice was even better than on the buffet. Staff was very helpful. What I didn't like - we had a corner room and it was cold. Expensive dinner, good quality but very poor service (but we tried it only once, we were do dissapointed that we never gave it another chance). We had a room in a building that was only two buildings away from the main one and I was tired od going up and down to the restaurant. We had a stroller so we had to use 4 elevators to get to the restaurant

Hotel excellent staff friendly and very helpful. Good choice of hot and cold food for breakfast, evening meal different soup and main meal every night stayed for 1 week. Ideally located for town , market every day prices very reasonable. Bar not very large but that is no problem if you want a srink there are places to go within 5 minute's walk. Throughly enjoyed my stay. Rooms were comfortable, nice shower. Wood go there again.

Squeaking floor is my strongest memory. Despite the (many) buildings are fresh and new, the floor sounds are disturbing and scary. Anyone walking the corridor shakes the whole floor.
Hotel complex is built in a beautiful valley along a mountain creek. This influenced the architecture and the need to build "independent" houses and connect them. The result is nice outside, but crazy to navigate the labyrinth inside. It is definitely not suitable for disabled persons and the less fit ones might have troubles reaching their rooms (even the map, yes The Map is provided). Signage is poor and misleading. The farthest pavilions K and J are NOT connected to the rest, so you really have to go out (get heavier clothing) if you want to reach restaurant, bar, spa etc. - IMHO unacceptable for a mountain resort.

Rooms are decent, very clean and well equipped. AC and heating are not reliable. Usually rooms are heavily ventilated by opening the windows, so it;s freezing cold when you enter the room and before it gets comfortably warm it takes a lot of time. This one needs changes in housekeeping procedures and modification of climate control system.
The really negative thing are the towels which are thin and seem to be heavily worn out.

Food in the restaurant is good and the freshly fried omelets for breakfast just the best I have eaten at any hotel!

Really bad WiFi. Based on home routers with multiple SSIDs. Needs immediate upgrading to match the hotel standard.

Room Tip: Do not accept rooms in pavilions K and J because they are not connected with the rest of the hotel b...

We went there to enjoy Easter as they had a special just for that event.Unfortunately we were disappointed as they did not live up to what they published. One thing that was definitely a plus is the food. I would put that at the excellent category. Never was a fan of food inclusive in the price but here I would do it again. The food was excellent. Easter moring breakfast was disappointing from the service point of view as the system worked on reserved tables but??? No table when we got there and when we got a table it was not what you would want for Easter breakfast. Excuse from the staff was that not all people made reservations but when they arrived they had to seat them. Not a good explanation. Some training required for the staff. We made a point to ask to be put in rooms with no kids around and were promised no problem. Guess what kids everywhere. Maybe they should consider making some buildings for adults only. If the place is meant for relaxation as it is located far from the centrum then you have to organize it that way. This is not an inexpensive resort and why should I put up with kids running around in the hallways???????

I stayed 4 nights at hotel Czarny Potok with my wife and her parents for Christmas 2013.

Positives :
Hotel is brand new so everything is shiny and clean.
Hotel is big but the size is disguised because it is split into attractive "chalet" style buildings linked by corridorns.
"Free" Wellness area (pool, saunas, gym) is fantastic, among the best I have ever seen in a hotel. We did not try the paidoptions (massage etc).
Restaurant was outstanding, huge selection, very well cooked, live cooking stations, good service.
We skied avery day at Jaworzyna Krynica, about 1.5km up the road. Hotel is well located close to this nice resort.
Overall we had a fantastic time and hope to be back next year.
Negative comments below are intended as constructive criticism for further improvement / advise to other traveller.

Negatives :
It's a long walk from some buildings to the reception / restaurant and a bit of a maze. Wasn't a problem for us but if you don't like walking you should check where your room is located.
Hotel is a little remote. You need transportation to get to Krynica town or the ski lifts (I knew this before we booked so it was not an issue)
Hotel ski-bus service was badly organised. we waited for ages at 2nd hotel gate and bus didn't show up (twice). Seems information from reception was wrong. Also it seems many guests were not skiiers so probably low priority for hotel.

Room Tip: If you don't like walking ask for a room in one of the buildings close to reception / restaurant...

We spend a long weekend at the hotel and everything was great!
Pool & sauna are clean and well maintained, the room we had was specious and everything is new. The menu is very interesting and rich; can't Waite for the winter to discover how it is to ski in Krynica as the lifts are located close to the hotel :)
