after reading so many great reviews we were expecting perfection???The beach is really great but Im afraid this review is coming from a YOUNG family with 2013 standards and the hotel and area is not quite what it says on the tin.
Everything about this hotel and the area surrounding it is totally stuck in the 90'....
Pool...They make you buy swimming hats ay 4 euros each which as a family is a cost not factored into the holiday.
GYM- Ive seen better equipment in a skip
computers - old and dated
Location...great if you want to spend the whole time on the beach othewize its a taxi ride to anywhere half decent.
Reception-Depressingly quiet and dated.
Breakfast - depressingly dull and boring, same cheese and ham every day .By day 4 we were bored and went elsewhere.
nearest shops is Playa de rosha (20-30) minuite walk and one of the biggest dumps of a 'strip' ive ever seen. run down resturants and shops so rubbish thier souveniers were rusty..
Miserable quiet resturants and the place is littered with stray dogs and mangey cats.
grafitti and run down buildings
In general the algarve as a whole needs to wake up and realise that you cant just please old people for ever. they will all be gone soon and us young families have a lot higher expectations.
To compete with ibiza, marbella, cyprus etc you need to pull your fingers out!!!More
