“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed 11 April 2014

Really nice location. Has a little spot on the cliff side with only 3 tables, so an amazing view - feels like you are almost in the sea.
Food is very well prepared, and fresh.
Pricey, but worth it.

“Amazing fish”
Reviewed 9 January 2014

May be one of the best fish restaurants in Ericeira. Location is perfect on bank of Fisherman´s harbour. Small restaurant, very fiendly staff. As usually, you can choose fresh fish of ice vitrine. Two kilo of something flatfish was enough for 5 person. Fish was very well cooked in grill, for starter there was the best octopus salad we ever have eat.
White house wine was good choice, also one glass porto with dessert.
Price level is not cheap, but you pay also of atmosphere and location. And for good service.

“Fairly good fish, but sloooow, very slow service!”
Reviewed 15 October 2013

We picked a huge gilt-head bream (dourada in Portugal) from the mountain of fish they had for the customers to pick from. Then I asked for it grilled, as usual in Portugal. We waited for 40 min for the food to be served. It should not have taken longer than 20 min, as the fish is open in half and grilled directly on the charcoal grill. Additionally, I don't think that serving grilled fish with 'açorda de ovas' is a good combination, nor is it very typical from this region. 'Ovas' is fresh roe, whereas açorda is mashed bread with garlic, coriander, olive oil, water, salt and eggs. In summary, fish was good, but overall the experience could have been better.

“Lovely location for this small restaurant”
Reviewed 17 August 2013

Lovely location for this small restaurant overlooking the beach. Nice atmosphere, good service. Slightly more upmarket than other restaurants we tried in Ericeira. We had sea bass which was simply cooked but good, though short on vegetables (we had to ask for more, which were quickly supplied).
