“Very relaxing and beautiful”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

Visited for the third time. Very relaxing place, staff are very helpful but also discreet and non intrusive. Beautiful gardens, great location to visit beautiful surrounding villages and great beaches. Great for a long week end away from everything.
Just a noisy cockerel in the morning, so bring some ear plugs if that kind of noise bothers you.

Our second stay at Paraíso Perdido this year was as wonderful as our first stay 3 years ago. We stayed five nights at both occasions, and definitely will go back!
Given our experience of 3 years ago, we knew what to expect, but still we were surprised by the hospitality and kindness of Minouche, Serge, Miguel, Salvatore and Francesca.
The relaxed atmosphere, the delicious food prepared by Salvatore, the facilities outside and inside the 'jaima' and the tastefully decorated cottages made our stay one not forget.
Our kids (10 and 12 years old) love to play pool in the 'jaima', hang around in the hammocks, eat the delicious pizzas...
Breakfast is served in a big basket outside your cottage: you get up when you want, no stress to have breakfast before a certain time; actually we had our breakfast sitting on our terrace in our pajamas.
Upon our arrival, Salvatore asked what we really like to eat: my daughter mentioned the panna cotta she had at our last stay. The very next day we had panna cotta...
We will certainly come back to this 'heaven on earth' in Conil de la Frontera!

in january you have the full service, good heated rooms, special food on request and the special spirit of Paraiso, relaxing and always a bit coming home! Even in january you can playing golf, going horserinding on t he beach - more or less alone - and in Conil or Chiclana or Cadiz you find the normal Andalusian life!

We stayed at Paraiso Perdido for 9 days and loved every minute of it. Its location, for one, is superb: close to wonderful beaches and interesting cities, and as it's near the seaside, it's a lot cooler than inland. Its owners are genuinely kind and helpful, and they made sure to hire only lovely people (strange characters, too, worthy of being mentioned in a novel - but all lovely). We booked pretty last minute and got a normal room, not a suite or anything - but it was big enough (with a huge shower). The baby bed provided seemed almost new (and we've been through baby bed hell before), and our double bed was fine too, nice and hard.

Extra points go to the inhouse chef, the Italian wonderboy Salvatore. Whenever we decided to eat out for a change, we regretted our decision: nobody can beat Salvatore's cooking. Fantastic chicken that melts on your tongue (no use asking for the recipe: it's the chef's secret), fabulous pizza, great lasagna, lovely tiramisu (with a spoonful of Nutella on top - he's playful, too!)... Really, we loved every dish... And it wasn't even expensive.

Minouche and her team act incredibly laid back, which made me relax even further. You can hop into Minouche's stinky office any time (she smokes like hell, but who cares) to get a free bottle of water, or refills for the things you need for breakfast (coffee, sugar, milk...), and in the charming tent there's a bar, during the day without a bartender and you can just write down what you took out of the bar.

They trust you, you trust them - that's how it works, and it works. A true paradise! We'll be back!

Last year we visited Paraiso Perdido for the first time and this year we decided to return for a second visit. In the mean time the property was improved substantially even more. We had a wonderful two weeks here and really enjoyed the tranquil nature of the property, the loving attention of its owners and staff and the beautiful beaches around Conil. Very highly recommended for a family vacation or a relaxing hideaway for couples. If you decide to spend a holiday here it is impossible not to love it.

Room Tip: For families try one of the suites familiar or one of the two cottages
