“Great hotel in quiet part of Conil”
Reviewed 1 July 2013

The staff we're all super friendly ALL of the time, the hotel was really relaxing, great buffet breakfast and open til 11am...late checkout at 12 was a bonus too! Would definitely go again...great hotel! Conil town in the afternoon/evening was superb too, so lively loads of different bars and restaurants to choose from, didn't want to leave! Love Conil, we had a very memorable stay :-)

Room Tip: A little far away from the centre of Conil but only 7€ or so in a taxi. We booked with booking.com a...

We have stayed here for a few nights and did not want to leave by our last day. It takes just 2 minutes to get down to the ocean for a refreshing morning swim. Once you come back to the hotel, a rich breakfast is served with various freshly made juices. By noon you end up surfing the waves at Conil de La Frontera beach. And later in the day you get back to the hotel for a delicious dinner. Oh good times.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. We really enjoyed the quiet but efficient atmosphere, the courteous staff and the location and facilities.
The hotel caters well for the more northern european tastes with both breakfast and dinner at earlier times than local custom would normally dictate. Choice and service at meals was excellent and the rooms were clean and well appointed.
That said, with very comfortable temperatures, we spent all our waking hours outside either on the terrace, poolside, on the beach and in the sea or in the beach bar watching the sun set... you get the idea....

When we first saw Hotel Flamenco I thought I had been transported back to the 80's - but I mean that in a good way! I have such fond memories of Childhood Spanish holidays in hotels like this one. A Hotel with professional, suited waiters and efficient Chamber Maids (are we still allowed to use this term -lol) wearing stiff uniforms. My point I suppose is the staff here are so professional, nothing is too much trouble and old fashioned courtesy is the order of the day. We had our one year old son with us and the staff were so lovely to him, a great cot was provided and the Maid was very understanding with all the baby paraphenalia in our room. I can''t rate this hotel too highly, the location is beautiful, the breakfast buffet exceeds all expectation, service excellent. The rooms are comfortable enough, very clean although the beds could do with an upgrade but overall I'd rate the accommodation as good. I particularly liked the stone bathroom with a fabulous shower and the quiet air conditioning unit. There is so much to see and do in this region of Spain, I'd recommend this hotel as a base for a touring holiday or the perfect, relaxing seaside holiday.

Room Tip: There were some rooms at the back of hotel which didn't look as attractive - request sea view or...

If you are looking for somewhere quiet, clean with a pool as well as it's own sandy beach then this is where to stay. We arrived at 10.30 having travelled from Cordoba via Sevile and Cadiz and we just wanted to chill. Jose offered a sea view room with breakfast and parking. It was fantastic as it was the peaceful seaside retreat we needed. Breakfast was ok we had it poolside but what really makes this place special is it's location and walk down the steps to the beach (and what a beach).

We loved this hotel. It's in a fabulous position, on a quiet edge of town and overlooking the sea, with a beautiful sandy beach at the bottom of the steps leading off the hotel lawns. Rooms are spacious, with marble bathrooms and pristine bedlinen. Staff were courteous, kind and helpful. Breakfast offered a wide choice: cooked or continental, and also included local specialities. The buzz of Conil central was a pleasant half hour walk along the beach, though you do need to check the tide times as the water can come right up to the cliffs - there's a tide table at reception. Otherwise it's a quick and easy taxi ride. Stayed for a couple of days and felt as rested as if we'd stayed a week.

Room Tip: Sea view room definitely worth it.

Picture this, an hotel perched above an 18km golden sanded beach with an azure blue atlantic ocean wave after wave gently hitting the shore line with numerous restaurants and tapas bars all along the sands, where one can walk run stroll swim surf or stretch out in endless sunshine from dawn to dusk. Then its back to a spotlessly clean, elegantly run hotel where one can swim in a small immaculately kept pool outdoors or hit the gym, indoor pool or jacuzzi. Why not take an aerobic class or a dance class or join the coktail evening. Myself spouse teenage daughter and close friends with their daughter had 2 fantastic weeks at the hotel and I would return in a heartbeat. It was authentically spanish, not a word of english was heard but staff and locals did their best to make us all feel we were welcome. The town of Conil was full of Spanish families holidaying and it felt safe and was really a step back in time, light years away from 'kiss me quick' land and high rise appartments blocks. For those who want a completely relaxing old style spanish holiday and by the way eating out (and drinking!) was cheap and delicious , plenty of fresh fish, then try hotel Flamenco and Conil
