“Very nice and quiet place!”
Reviewed 29 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Casa Alejandra is located on a hill and it is a 20 minute walk to the beach/Old Town. We arrived much later than anticipated because of some major difficulties with our luggage. As it turned out, Victor didn't exaggerate at all when he said he's flexible and after a short phone call we met at the house.

The house is very nice, clean, and quiet, spans three floors and also sports a rooftop terrace. The latter was hands down the best place to be after returning from dinner. The kitchen is fully equipped though the coffee machine is a bit on the smallish side. There are three supermarkets in the general vicinity (SuperSol is nearby, for shopping at Mercadona or Aldi you'd probably want to drive) to get everything you need, we preferred Mercadona. All three bed rooms and the living room are air-conditioned; unfortunately, there were only two remotes available which was a bit awkward to handle in the night. Since that is our only real complaint, let's call this a typical first world problem and move on.

We once ran out of gas but after a simple message the house owners dropped by and switched out the gas bottle within 30 minutes. This is what I'd call exemplary customer service! We've waited longer for some waiters to get the bill.

Victor has also prepared a folder with some recommendations for restaurants and tapas bars, as well as emergency numbers. We only went to one of the recommendations but the food there was very delicious and worth every penny.

Wonderful location, inexpensive, friendly and helpful landlords; what's not to like? Not to mention that Conil is a really wonderful town. If we return to the general area, we will definitely stay there again!
