“Fantastic Value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 June 2014 via mobile

Visited week before summer season starts, so found a great deal with booking.com. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Had a great room, with fantastic views from the balcony, sea one way, mountains another and look down to see the lively goings on on San Pedros high street. The room itself very clean, fantastic shower room with nice soaps, sponges and shower gels, always replenished when the room is made. Great continental buffet breakfast, plenty of choices, if want an English breakfast plenty of places in town to go. They offer a great on the public car park, which is right by the hotel. Only two slight shames were one there was no minibar/fridge in the room and although not in room that much, but only one English channel on TV, shame they don't have slightly better remote controls so you can change the language on some of the other channels that are showing dubbed US shows. But these are only two slight niggles on an otherwise great hotel for the money. Oh and forgot to mention the fantastic roof top bar with some truly magnificent night time views.

Nice and very helpfull receptionist. We could park our motorbike almost under the hotel in a guarded parking at a fair price. Good price/quality. The hotel is very near some excellent reataurants and bars.

Although the building looks a bit ugly from outside, it's a nice hotel! Our room was a decent size with a balcony, toiletries, and big shower.

The breakfast is really good, with plenty of variety. We enjoyed the Spanish tostada - grilled bread with tomato paste, olive oil and ham.

The roof-top bar is also good. Lovely views of the mountains, and a very pleasant place to catch the evening sun. San Pedro itself is a really pretty town and it's worth walking into the centre.

We parked our hire car the other side of the main A7 road towards the sea, where it's free parking. It's only 2 minutes' walk away, but the hotel staff don't tell you as they want you to pay to use their car park.

On the subject of parking, if you go to Puerto Banus, don't use the rip-off car park. Park in one of the nearby roads by the beach, 5-10 minutes away and walk in.

Overall, a lovely hotel and a good price.

I stayed at this hotel with my girls weekend, the rooms are great and service is brilliant. Only downside for me was no tea & coffee making facilities in room. It is short taxi ride to main centre and there are plenty of cafes, shops nearby. The rooftop terrace is a must if you stay here, the view is amazing and service is brilliant, visited it every day we were there. Very happy with hotel and service received, would definitely stay here again and recommend it

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in April and we were very pleased with the hotel. The room was clean and bright with large wardrobe (not many hangers) and a small but very adequate bathroom. All the staff we had contact with from reception, breakfast and room cleaning were all friendly and helpful and most important - efficient. The breakfasts were fresh and plentiful with good choice. We thought it was excellent value for money and the central location gave very easy access to lots of bars and restaurants. The beach is an easy 10 minute walk away. There is a taxi rank outside and the bus is just down the road. The only downside for us was the rooftop bar wasn't open. As the weather was so good it would have been nice to have sat outside. I was concerned about noise but considering we were overlooking bars and restaurants, we were able to sleep with our balcony door open with only the usual early morning cleaning vehicles causing some noise. We shall have no hesitation in returning.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked Avenida Marques del Duero on 2nd floor and we could see the sea from our balcony...

Lots of good things to say about this hotel…apart from the one key point which is: the bed was terrible. It was long past its throw out date for sure. Apart from a poor nights sleep, the hotel is an ideal situation for exploring the area, the staff were lovely, the breakfast was a mix of healthy and yummy pastries!
For over all rating its a good hotel…but please please change and upgrade the beds, they are terrible :(

Room Tip: 2nd floor at the front was noisy due to the taxi rank outside the window
