I've been here several times over the last few years, often as a solo traveller, staff are very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Reasonably priced hotel in a fabulous location! It is out the way of the notorious west end, but close to the lovely sunset strip, you can guarantee a decent sleep here whether you've been out clubbing or not. About a twenty minute walk to the town and bus station where you can catch buses to explore the island or get the discobus to the big clubs such as Space
Yes, the furniture is a little dated in some of the rooms but it is quality stuff, and you can tell this place was built to last. Everything is spotlessly clean, pool area is nice and peaceful, and despite being relatively small, sunbeds always seem to be plentiful, even in August! It seems most guests staying here seem to venture out of hotel grounds during the day, often I've actually had the pool area to myself! Food is okay, something for everyone but can get a bit boring after a while. Half of the rooms are sea view and are definitely worth requesting, if ever you don't fancy going out to watch the sunset you can see it from the balcony :) writing this is making me want to be there right now!

If your scraping to get to ibiza this year and dread the thought of staying in the Westend then the Abrat is perfect.
The location is amazing- next door (almost) to the Golden Budda so you can pretty much make the most of the sunset strip yet are far enough away from the chavs that frequent Westend. My partner and I used the beach directly outside of the hotel. Make the most of the hotels location and walk along the rock to the very beautify El Chiringuto.
The hotel itself is good, although reception would benefit from a facelift, rooms are nicely decorated and well sized too. When I arrived the hotel room was initially very disappointing as I was hoping for a sea view. Quick dash to reception and they very kindly changed my room for me (not bad for August) although it did cost an extra 7euro a night it is worth every cent.
Pool area is bliss and theres free wifi. If like me you find yourself growing out of the listening to strangers loud, rubbish pool banter topped off with their loud, cheesy commercial dance music then the Abrat is the perfect escape to relax and sleep off last nights dancing juice. If the budget only allows San An then i would not hesitate a return. Probably one of the best in the area.

Room Tip: Let reception know on booking that you want a sea view. It is worth the little extra.

We travelled here in July 2013 with a family of 5 looking to stay into Ibiza as an Indian family. It was quite difficult looking for a place as we were looking for somewhere quiet but central in Ibiza, so this was just the place. Arriving, we were taken care of and 1 out fo 2 rooms were upgraded to Sea View free of charge. We woke up to a glorious view and they are to die for.

The staff are most welcoming, epecially the bar staff, I have enjoyed their smiles throughout our 7 days staying there, always friendly and happy!

As tourists, we were continously finding places to see, after locating a few places to go to asking the receptionists on directions and advice was no hassle and they all understood plain english which is always good.

The hotel itself is a little outdated, the rooms are bland but they are basic but by no means inhabitable. Its a nice room, LCD TVs, Safes and the cleaning maides came everyday to sort the bathroom, towels and room out.

If your looking to buy a locker, do make use of it, it's something like 2 euros a day and we hadn't had a single item taken or no problems using it with a key to ourself. The pool is great, big enough and with great views and area to sunbathe in.

All in all, it's a wonderful place to stay, just outside San Antonio Bay in Cala Gracio.

Room Tip: Ask the receptionist for a Sea View room upon arrival, 9/10 they will give you one for free :)

Really happy we booked this hotel. We wanted to stay in San Antonio but not where it was too crazy and Hotel Abrat's location was perfect as it was about a 15 min walk from the main part of San Antonio.
We were extremely pleased with the hotel itself - yes like most have said, the decor is a little outdated but it's not that bad at all!
We enjoyed the breakfast each morning and the staff were all really friendly and helpful, especially if you made effort to speak a little Spanish!
This is a 3 star hotel, and that is what you got, I think it was great value for money and would definitely recommend it to anyone (except those purely going to party)

I really was not expecting the best stay here but all I was looking for was a place to sleep and relax with my friends along with other typical ibiza antics that 20 year olds are looking for. It turned out to be quite nice, we arrived at the hotel after a long walk from the bus station and got greeted by a lovely lady and off we went to our room. The room was large and spacious but quite dated and as clean as a old room can be for a old used bedroom. The pool was nice with a nice pool bar but your not allowed to drink you own drinks ore eat your own food which is the first place I have ever been to like that but the bar was cheap for food and drinks so it was ok. The hotel is about 10-15 min walk along the sea front to the main centre of San Antonio. There was no noise or disturbance at night and the hotel seemed fairly secure. I would stay here again because u get what you pay for.

We have just returned from a weeks stay in the Abrat. On first reflection yes the hotel is a little dated. But it was clean and the staff are very friendly. The hotel is situated on the edge of San Antonio and close enough to the West End for some fun, but far enough away if you just wanted to chill. We went near the end of the season so the hotel wasn't very busy at all. This we found a nice surprise. No children or teenagers. Just couples enjoying the sun. Out only complaint would be the beds. They were the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in. Waking up most mornings aching from head to toe. But apart from that our stay was an enjoyable one. And one we shall be enjoying again!

Travelled beginning of Sept with my 18 year old daughter
Having been to Ibiza many times, this was my first time actually staying in San An and having scoured review after review of various hotels and dismissing them i finally settled on a couple of hotels to stay at
The Abrat hotel was the perfect start to our holiday. We only stayed there a couple of nights but it had everything you could want
Although the hotel from the outside looks a little dated the rooms are beautifully decorated, large spacious outlay with plenty of storage, air con (self controlled) and TV + large bathroom facilities
I paid a little bit extra for a sea view and it was well worth it, sitting on the balcony looking over the sea and out onto the sunset
The location is idylic just past the sunset strip (mambo, del mar etc) and only a 5 minute walk back to there and 15 minutes to the west end area,
Although the area around the pool isnt that large they do have a large garden area with plenty of sunbeds available and we never had a problem getting one at any time of day
The food was of a good standard and a good selection at both breakfast and dinner times
The cliental was mixed both young and families, english and spanish
The staff were all extremely pleasant and effecient + the hotel was very clean
Overall this was a lovely hotel and great value and i wouldnt have any qualms about staying here again
