“Relaxing family holiday”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

Lovely clean hotel and great family atmosphere (except for our last two nights when a group of party lads decided to wake everyone in the early hours with their drunken noisy antics, shame they were allowed to book in such a big group at this mainly quiet, family suited hotel)
The pool area was spotlessly clean but the main pool was quite deep even in the shallow end. Our boys loved the sports court which was just next to pool area so really handy for a game of footy whenever they wanted. The pool bar was great, especially the hard working staff, always smiling. Enrique was great organising a few activities to keep kids occupied, more suited to boys though, footy, dodge ball, water volley ball etc. The games room was ideal too. The food was great for all inclusive, plenty of choice and very fresh. The daily cocktails at the main bar were worth a try too! We didn't venture too far from the hotel as our boys were happy around the pool most days but we enjoyed a bit of snorkelling just off the rocks near a fish restaurant nearby. The cocktails at Kumarahs watching the sunset was a great moment too. Our flight home was early evening so we made use of the courtesy shower rooms on the last day. These facilities were spotlessly clean and meant we could make the most of our last day after we left our room at lunch time. We also managed a quick snack at 5pm just to set us up for our journey home. We really had a relaxing and enjoyable break.

Room Tip: We had a room above the reception office, not a great view but kids got free wifi so they were happy...

We stayed for a week in August and found the Marvell Club to be overall okay, Reception were helpful as I needed an extra pillow and also to seek a doctor whilst away.

This was our first time all inclusive and we found the food was good and plenty to choose from, if you missed breakfast there was snack bar open later in the day and burgers and hotdogs for kids. Drinks were good too, the only complaint would be that the soft drinks could come in a bigger plastic glass rather than the small ones given.

The pool was clean and tidy, as in the earlier comments, we also found the waiting for the beds in a morning at 9am in the first couple of days no problem at all, but as the week progressed a large family seem to take over the beds and the parasols especially, as we all found a spot that we liked sometimes wasnt the case.. One day the pool was closed due to some one going to the toliet in the pool, but these things happen.

The entertainment was average and we didnt see many of them, the area outside the complex was your typical Ibiza nightlife wouldnt choose this again I would go for something a little more quieter.

Overall for a 3 star it was okay, I did think that for the amount of money we paid was too much( but that is school holidays for you!!) , but if you are thinking of staying here get a sea view well worth it.

Please note that WIFI is only in reception - Kids might not like this!!!

Room Tip: Make sure you pay the extra for sea view and WIFI is only in reception (kids might not like this)

A lovely, clean, 3* (yes it's only 3* so don't go expecting 5*) hotel.
Food fab - my husband is very fussy and he did not go hungry, although we did hear people moaning about lack of choice - it's a 3* hotel, want more? Pay more in my opinion!
Fresh sheets and towels every day - can't ask more than that!
Pool - very clean and well kept, sun beds an issue when one particular family started sprinting to reserve beds. Wasn't an issue prior to their arrival! I would say plenty for everyone who wanted to use them at the time they were actually at the pool. What I mean is - lots were being reserved early morning, but people not actually sitting on them until hours and hours later - not good!
Entertainment - he did his best! But I personally would be happy with none. If bingo is what you're after - this is not your hotel!
Location - perfect! Far enough away from San Antonio but near enough if that's what you want.

All in all a good holiday which we (including girls aged 15/12) enjoyed. 2nd week cloudy so disappointed but hey that's out of all our control!!!!!

ON ARRIVAL:- Our first impressions was "oh no what have we booked" on check in the reception area was very dated, when we walked into our room just the same, it has a small kitchen area and a sofa which our son had to sleep on. We opened the balcony door, to a really area, to a beautiful sea view that we paid extra for which I would highly recommend doing as the rooms at the front of the hotel were quite noisy, but just to the right was a large crane which spoils it slightly. We just felt really disappointed. We unpacked went for lunch then to the pool. After a few hours our views changed slightly.
FOOD :- The food was lovely, there was lots of choice for breakfast, lunch and tea. If you missed breakfast there was a snack bar that offered breakfast choice if you missed lunch the snack bar offered burgers and hotdogs.
SUNBEDS :- Our first couple of days were really civilized, we could get a coffee and sit on the terrace until the pool attendant had finished then we could walk to get a bed, this soon changed when a family decided they would just walk to the top of the steps to run to get the bed they wanted it ended up been quite stressful for some. The people that ran for the beds and put the towels down would the leave and not return until the afternoon which left some people not getting a bed so left to go to the beach.
POOL:-The pool was lovely and clean as was the area. The pool attendants were ok but on one occasion really unfair. On the next to our last night 3am some family woke alot of the hotel up, caused damage in the room swearing and screaming on the balcony and throwing drinks over. The morning after when we were waiting to get beds the pool attendant let the family in to choose beds as it was one of there 18th birthday, blew balloons up for them and monitored the area. The place they took a disabled woman used to sit there as it was the only bit of shaded area around we were all appalled by this. They did actually get a warning and was told any more trouble and they were out.
ENTERTAINMENT:- This needs sorting out quick it was just one person working day and night 6 days a week, we felt for all inclusive this should have been of a higher standard.
DRINKS:- Lots to choose from with different cocktails every night. Last orders was 11pm and everything seemed to close not long after that, some people thought this was poor for all inclusive. There was some lovely bars around if you wanted to carry on drinking.
We did have a lovely holiday but went with another family which made a big difference and did meet some lovely people.

Room Tip: Would highly recommend paying extra for a sea view

We are just home from a week's holiday here. What a fantastic hotel. Everything was perfect. The room was spacious. We had a fab view of the pool and ocean. The hotel staff could not do enough for us. They were very pleasant and worked very hard at keeping a good standard in the hotel. Pool area and rooms cleaned thoroughly everyday. Food was lovely too. We just did bed and breakfast but all guests we spoke to doing the all inclusive were delighted. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: Pool view's are the nicest

Just arrived home after a week's stay, fab hotel. We had room 312, spotlessly clean. We landed lucky with a sea view, which was lovely.

Staff in this hotel are just outstanding, from cleaners, bar staff, restaurant to reception, so friendly and welcoming, especially the bar staff, special mention to Katy, who works in the pool bar, such a lovely lady. Food was fantastic, really the best All Inclusive I have had, great choice and loads, even the fussiest of eaters will find something. Pool area is kept spotless and a lovely, warm pool. Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids (14 and 11) and they had a blast. Enrique the Entertainment guy was so good with all the kids and throughout the day had them kept busy.

All in all would not hesitate to return to this hotel, just great.
