“Fiesta milord, shame about the hidden extras”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

Overall good experience, food reasonable and a good variety, drinks plentiful though not the best of labels, these were extra, room good and the place was clean, staff very helpful and friendly. However the beach was poor and at times a little whiffy the hotel advertised it's own private beach so was somewhat taken aback one day when we decided to use the beds on the beach rather than the pool, we were charged fifteen euros for two beds and the umbrella. That should not happen on a Private beach, there were plenty of beds round the two pools but too many we were packed in like sardines which made it difficult to get on and off the beds. This hotel charged for everything despite being so called 'all inclusive', the safe which was expected, but not for a fridge, kettle, iron, beach towels, plus the most extraordinary charge the remote for the television!!! They said wifi was complimentary, not what I call complimentary at eight euros a day, and then it only worked in reception. Could and did live without these extras but was expecting a fridge in the room, waking in the night to a drink of warm water was not pleasant. Enjoyed the ten days we stayed though, shame the management avarice spoiled it.

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking the pool and evening entertainment area were probably noisy, ours looked out o...

This has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Very clean and the food was delicious. There was always a wide variety of food everyday. We decided not to use the pools because we prefer the beach which the hotel was right on top of. There are shops and bars closeby. The boat that takes you to San Antonio is very useful. Would definitely stay here again. One thing I would say is that they should put fridges in the rooms as we were only half board so forever buying cold drinks. Also could do with free wifi.

when we arrived at the hotel very early in the morning we were checked in very quickly and staff were very polite.
When we got to the room it was very spacious, everything was clean and tidy and the balcony view was amazing.
We went all inclusive and I have to say the food was amazing. I'm a very fussy eater and still managed to find a variety of things to eat every day. Didn't find it hard to find a table in the restaurant and the staff were very friendly.
Getting a sun lounger was never a problem and people were reserving them which didn't seem to be frowned upon. However there were cases of people reserving loungers then going out all day just reserved from 8am purely to have an hour in the sun much later in the afternoon but this was a very minor problem and I didn't see anyone struggle for a lounger.
Our towels were changed every day of our 7 night stay and we saw the Maid a few times and she was very friendly and polite.
There are little extra costs for things but that's to be expected. We decided to get a safe just to keep our passports safe mainly. One day we accidently left the safe open and the maid came into our room while we were out and Nothing had been taken at all. I have seen reviews claiming thefts had taken place and they may have but we had no problems and I left many expensive items out of the safe as the main concern was our passports and money. Yet again the maid was in our room every day and nothing was taken.
Our whole experience at this hotel was amazing. I understand that you can't please everyone but some of things I've seen complained about in other reviews are the expectations of 4/5 star hotels. If you don't want the little issues then pay more money and go to a 5 star. Everyone has different experiences but in my experience anyone we saw complaining about staff were the ones being rude and very disrespectful. Please don't let the bad reviews put you off!

We were taking our 22 month old away on our first trip abroad so were very anxious. This hotel made everything so much easier. Very family orientated, private beach, great kids clubs, extremely clean and within walking distance of lots of shops and bars should you want to go and do something different. There was a soft play area at the top of the street which was 5 euros or free for under 2's.
Food was very good and very much something for everyone. The staff in the restaurant were really nice and if wasn't for the Germans skipping the queues I couldn't fault it.
The only thing that I could say was a negative was that all the things you get free with an official 4 star (this is a 3 star but rated 4 by Thomsons), you have to pay for here. You don't get pool towels, the safe is 3 euros a day, you don't get a remote control for the telly unless you give them a 10 euro deposit but hey ho, you get it back.
The water taxi to San Antonio is 3 euros and takes 10 minutes and it's literally at the bottom of the hotel where it meets the beach.
We are seriously considering returning to this hotel next year.

I am best writing this review in two parts, one with the facts and one with my personal opinions.
We have just returned from a one weeks stay at the Fiesta Milord on an all inclusive package.

Facts - We found the hotel and room to be very clean. The staff here are helpful, professional and polite. The safe hire is pricey but you need a safe on holiday so paid anyway. No trouble getting a sunbed however if you do have a particular place you want then you probably will need to bag a bed first thing. There is a good drink selection for all inclusive. It is true the views are not picturesque however this is obviously beyond the hotels control and didn't bother me. The water taxi is ideally located right outside for a 3 euro trip to San Antonio centre. There is a small beach area, clean but not a golden sands style beach. The main shops with a few bars are located 5 minutes walk away.

My opinion - The noise at night can be annoying to say the least. The hotel is designed in a modern way (marble smooth floors etc) and every scrape can be heard. Also the doors are easily closed so if you swing it too hard then they slam. Not so noticeable during the day but at night when people return back it is all to obvious! 3 out of the 7 nights I hardly slept a wink. Again if you are heavy sleepers you should have no problems. Please note the next point is purely based on my experience. We have only eaten at the hotel all week. The food has been very tasty with a good selection. Sadly towards the end of the holiday I was violently ill. This has been my first experience of a food related illness. I have deducted it was due to some calamari rings I had eaten as my partner had not eaten these and was not ill at all so could not have been viral. I did not report it to reception at the time as was quite embarrassed but on reflection at home feel the need to mention it as an advisory note. I suppose when you do go away you always run the risk of something not agreeing with you but for this last reason it put quite a miserable downer on what had been quite a good week at the Milord.

My overall review then is to say this is a lively hotel with great staff. If you want a 100% peaceful quiet hotel then maybe not for you. However if you are an easygoing person (unlike me) who can overlook a bit of noise and distractions then you are sure to have an excellent time here.

Would I go again, probably not. However this hotel is great for families and groups so would recommend this is an ideal hotel for them.

Room Tip: Hotel has 9 floors. Email requests are generally accepted if you have a preference.

Just got back from a weeks stay at the Fiesta Milord. The hotel itself is great, clean and friendly. We arrived early hours in the morning and there was no fuss, we were greeted by friendly professional staff and it was like that our whole stay (especially Victor)

The food did not disappoint! So much choice at Breakfast, Lunch and dinner with snacks throughout the day :) also there was a lot of choice of alcoholic and soft drinks, and the bar staff always have a smile on their faces and very polite.

Our room was very clean and quiet spacious. We had a room with a pool view but could also see the beach too which was lovely.

Location was good, water taxi was right next to the hotel and it was 3euro per journey into San Antonio and leaves every half an hour.

Entertainment was great, many activities throughout the day for adults and children and also in the evening. The team were fab especially Gunda and Milan! :)

The only thing this hotel doesn't have is free Wifi which didn't bother me at all.

I would defiantly visit this hotel again.

Stayed here for a week in June, very clean hotel with a good selection of food if you are all inclusive! Drink selection is also very good and includes cocktails. The water taxi takes you to San Antonio for 3 euros. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was there was no fridge in the room if you are all inclusive!
