“Loved Ibiza, loved the Milord!!”
Reviewed 19 May 2009

I returned from this hotel yesterday after a weeks' stay with my partner, and we were both so sad to leave! The hotel and grounds are cleaned daily to a very high standard, it was lovely returning from breakfast every morning to a beautifully cleaned and made up room. Food was excellent with plenty of choice and show cooking, there was even burgers and chips etc every night making this a perfect choice for families! There are 2 lovely pools, although these can get very busy and everyone reserves loungers in the morning...my motto is if you can't beat 'em join 'em so the days we wanted to laze by the pool we popped our towels down before breakfast. We upgraded to the all-inclusive drinks package locally, this was 15 euros per person per day, which seems alot but it really was worth it as drinks are quite expensive, this included all soft drinks, juices, bottled water, tea & coffee, local spirits, wine & beer and selected cocktails. There is also another option which includes snacks as well.

There was a mini disco for children, and entertainment on at the hotel every evening, we didn't watch this though as preferred to venture out. The hotel is not too far from San Antonio, you can get a boat across in the day for 2.50 euros, or a taxi set us back about 8 euros. We did walk a few times, which probably took about half an hour so not bad at all considering you have lovely views of the sea as you walk! We had one night out at one of Ibizas' famous nightclubs, Es Paradis, be warned if you want to go clubbing take a lot of spending money-it 'aint cheap!! You can purchase tickets through the reps at the hotel, for the night we went it was 30 euros each entrance fee, cheapest drink in there was a small bottle of water which was 6.50 euros!!

There are a few excursions available to book through the reps but most of these seemed to be more geared towards families, so we did our own thing. We hired a moped through a local company for 2 days, which was 22 euros per day, which was great for us as it meant we could go and explore the whole island at our own leisure. We went up to resorts of San Miguel and Portinax, which have some beautiful beaches, and are a lot quieter than San Antonio. We also visited Ibiza town, which is a must see, and had a look around Playa d'en Bossa. On a wednesday it is the Hippy Market in Es Cana, which i would recommend. We got a bus there-buses are very easy to catch but you pretty much have to get a bus into San Antonio town before you can go anywhere else. To get to Es Cana, you catch a bus to San Antonio, then to Santa Eulalia, and then onto Es Cana. Cheaper than getting a taxi though!

A must see is the famous Ibiza sunset- 2nd best in the world! We watched it a few times from the coast at the back of the hotel, and it is simply breathtaking. There are bars in San Antonio- Cafe Mambo and Cafe del Mar which are popular for having a drink whilst watching the sunset.

Overall we found this hotel fantastic value for money, great location, suitable for all ages. I would not hesitate to visit again, and would recommend to anyone.

Just got back from fiesta milord spent a week there with friends. The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff were all friendly and the food was very good plenty of choice. We upgraded to all inclusive when we got there and would definitley recommend doing so as it was well worth it. Had a lovely time but must add that i think in the high season the dining room and the pool area would be quite crowded as they were busy when we were there and the hotel was not full. We found a good range of ages groups which was nice.

We arrived on the typical ibiza flight at 2.30am, we got our coach to the hotel, arriced at reception to check in and was greeted by a rather slow and deaf receptionist, we got checked in and upgraded to ALL INCLUSIVE and went to our room, our room was situated in the Milord 2 and our room like all faced the sea.

The food was simply excellent there was something for everyone, there was a whole section for the kids: Fish Fingers, Chicken Nuggets, Burgers, Chips etc. There was always 2 soups usually 1 cream of something and a veggie soup, there was a chef slicing a different meat every night and always pasta of some sort and all the usuall, Red and White wine was also availible for free as well as your soft drinks and water.

There was two pools whick both with adequite sunbeds, also as the hotel is on the beach there were stunning views and also the sunbeds on the private part of the beach were for free.

There were boats wich were every 15mins that took you into San Antonio Town (Where the clubs were) these started at around 8am and stopped at 12 midnight, after this taxi's are availible they are around €10 one way.

The entertainment was first class, by far the best i have seen, Pico was fantastic, there were many shows such as, Mr & Mrs Fiesta Milord, The Lion King, Fiesta Stars (Sketch Show) & Moulin Rouche.

The Thomson's rep came around the sunbeds everyday and chatted which was nice.

I would thouroughly recommend this hotel to anyone, and i will definatley be going back.

This has got to be the best hotel we, as a family have stayed in!

The rooms were spotless, views amazing and the staff were so friendly

entertinment in both night and day was also brilliant and so funny! =]

we are going back this year, as a family we decided it was the only option

ignore negative views about this place..

the only problem we had was the restaraunt being a little cramped but we did go at the busiest time of year so it was understandable

hope this was helpful x

Firstly our booking was not noted at hotel so we were waiting around for ages at 2am. The gentleman behind the counter although was friendly was very slow and testing our patients. Very dissapointed with Thomsons for this booking not been registered.
Eventually got a room which was great. Sea View and very modern decor.
Very noisy during the night with people banging doors and the maids dragging chairs across the floow.
No drinks included in half board dinner and there was a huge que to get your drinks from teh bar in the restaurant so we didnt bother.
Breakfast was great but evenings meals were dissapointing and the meat was very cheap.
Pool area was kept very clean. Not much of a beach but theres a boat outside which will take you to the beach of cala basa which is gorgeous.
Overall def only worth its 3 star and would not give it 4 T's like thomsons has done.

Just back from a week in this hotel. First visit to Ibiza and loved every minute of it. Can't fault the hotel. Down side was some noisy guests late at night !!
Location of the hotel was excellent, with a small jetty just outside and a regular boat to the main part of the resort.
If you decide to go to the hippy market or any other parts of the island the public transport is excellent and very cheap. As an example the three of us paid, in total, 37 euros whereas if we had booked through the holiday company rep it would have cost us 40 euros each !
I would recommend this hotel to anyone (no matter what age). Can't fault the food, cleanliness etc etc

Just got back from a week in the excellent Milord in San Antonio.
The food is superb, always a massive choice of quality meats, veg, fruit, everything in fact!
There is something for everyone at every meal time.
The situation with the sunbeds however was as expected.
A big queue at 0830 put us off, and even then everyone that managed to get a hotel bed ended up lined up like sausages with no room for moving round in the sun.
We went to the beach and paid the 18 euros for 2 beds and a parasol.
Previous reviews have slated the beach but it was as clean as can be expected.
The ferry to the main centre is 2.50 each way and the beach there is cheaper for the beds.
I would reccommend this hotel without hesitation.

  • Liked — The food.
  • Disliked — The amount of people to sun beds.
