“Absolutly superb, 1st Class Hotel - FAB - in a great position in the bay”
Reviewed 23 July 2009

Having just returned from the Milord I really felt I needed to take the time and write a review, this hotel was 1st class. Our room was lovely, comfortable and clean with a balcony over looking the sea. The towels were changed every day and the room has a hairdryer in the bathroom which was great, so much so I didnt need to use my own once.
The evening entertainment was great Mamma Mia was fantastic and the entertainment team work really hard, my little girl is the biggest mini disco fan. The drinks in the hotel are quite expensive but you can purchase drinks bands which are great value for money . I would recommend that you try the OLD TAVERN just at the top of the street if you arnt staying in to watch the hotel entertainment the drinks are reasonably priced and the entertainer JIM RHODES is excellent. Across the road to the Old Tavern there is a little shop which is reasonably priced and sells Cow & Gate ready made baby milk (for anyone travelling with babies) we would have found that handy to know before we went. We think this hotel is in a great position it is nice & quiet but if you want lively it is a 2 min walk away. Is is also right next to the water taxi that takes you into San Antonio. If you enjoy walking, we used to walk most days round to San Antonio and stop on the way for a game of crazy golf there is a good little course about 20 mins walk from the hotel on the other side of the road. There is also a great play area on the way to San Antonio.
The food at the Milord is fantastic with loads of variety, normally on holiday we find ourselves eating out as hotel food can become repetative and not of a great standard but at the Milord this is NOT the case. I will start with the breakfasts there is cereal, yoghurts, meats & cheese, toast, hot buffett inc sausage, bacon, beans, tomatos, scrambeled eggs, fried bread. There are Omlettes which are cooked freshley for you (cheese & onion was delicious) as well as fried eggs, to drink Coffee (if like me, you like coffee there was sachets of Nescafe to add to the hot water rather than the machine made coffee) tea and fruit juice. We found it good that breakfast was served until 10.30am so you didnt have to rush to get up and catch breakfast and even if we went in at 10.20am there was still the full selection of food and nice and hot. The selection at dinner was just SUPERB, there was always a soup (but I dont really like soup so I never tried it) but for main meal EACH NIGHT there was the following, a selection of salads, fish, meat, potatoes, vegetables pasta, pizza, a carvery as well as burgers and chips if this is what you like and there is always a type of meat that is cooked freshly for you.
During our stay we tried Steak, pork & lamb chops cooked freshly while we waited, from the carvery lamb, beef, pork and veal with a chioce of gravy or chassaeur sauce with mash, brocolli, potato croquettes. Salmon, hake, squid, chicken curry & rice chinese style with spring rolls, chicken tikka, fresh seafood (prawns, salmon, mussles) with salad, paella, pasta bolognase, fajitas, quesadillas, giant vol a vonts and the burgers and chips, I could go on but I think I have named enough. All of these things that we tried were delicious and I could not fault the meals they were always hot and the chefs would replace dishes on the buffett before the trays were empty and I can only think that this was to ensure that the food was always hot.
I can not praise the Fiesta Milord highly enough the staff were friendly, food was superb and the rooms and public areas of the hotel were modern and clean. This hotel deserves the 4T Thomson give it. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Stayed for a girly weekend and we could not fault this hotel one bit. The decor was lovely and the full complex was spotless. The food was "WOW", every item we chose was beautiful and there were so much to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Basically, we enjoyed it so much the a few of us are coming back next yr with our hubbys and children for our main holiday. Would deffo recommend.

Myself, my fiancee and my family have just arrived back from a lovely 2 week stay at the Milord and miss it already. What a holiday it was!!! The hotel overall was spotless throughout from the rooms down to the pool areas. There was a vast selection of food to choose from in the restuarant so we never went hungry. The daily activities which may I add I never won which was amusing to the rest of the holiday makers at the hotel were excellent. The maids, bar staff and waiters were all friendly especially one of the maids who always sang when she was cleaning the rooms and Antonio the chef, definatley would recommened trying one of his omlettes!!

We all had views overlooking the sea which was very nice and the hotels location was perfect with bars and clubs just at the top of the road and a shop just around the corner where you can get the usual bits and bobs. The ferry across to San Antonio is literally a 2 mintue walk from the hotel which was slightly pricey but very convienient as my nan struggles to walk long distances.

The hotel entertainment team were 1st class. Gabrielle, Kimia and Dana were superb. LIvely and always smiling and excellent with the kids. Seeing as there is only 3 of them they did an excellent job with the daily activities and always had time for a chat or to answer any questions.

There is a beautiful place just around the corner where you can go and watch the sunset. It is so romantic, but be warned the prices are ridiculous. You can take your own drinks which we did from the shop and chill out on the beach.

There was a couple of things that were disapointing. Firstly the "All Inclusive Bands" which the Thomson team at our local travel agent forgot to tell us about. If we had knew prior to the holiday we would of upgraded before we went as it would of been cheaper to upgrade in england than it would of been at the hotel. As we were all still half board we all felt that we along with other people that were only half board were being punished as the drinks were way way over priced at 3 & a half euros for a large beer and it wasn't even a pint measure and also didnt really taste nice. A large Coke or fizzy pop was the same price which I felt was pricey. There is no entertainment on a friday night at the hotel as the entertainment team have to go and help out at another hotel which is fair enough but there isn't even music playing for the people sitting at the tables enjoying a beer. I do feel the management put alot of pressure on the 3 guys kimia, Gabrielle & Dana given the amount they have to do and i praise them 110% for their efforts.

Also for the early morning risers who like to put their towels down at the crack of dawn I will warn you there is no hot drink faciiities until the resturant opens. 4 euros a day for a safe i also felt was somewhat crazy.

Dont let this put you off this hotel at all as it was enjoyed by all. Thanks again to the entertainment team for making our holiday. Defnately going to keep in touch with them all.

Just got back from a 10 night stay in the Fiesta Milord and had the best time ever! The hotel was just perfect. Exceptionally clean, maids were so friendly and did an excellent job. The hotel food was very good with a different selection every night. The location was great for me and my boyfriend as we wanted lots to do, but didn’t want to stay in the middle of San Antonio. So if your after clubbing every night it would get quite pricey taking the water taxi every day at 2.50 euros a single. However lots of people did this! The bay was beautiful and had the best sunsets iv ever seen! The pool area was fine, although in high season it could get very busy as it isn’t massive! The beach by the hotel was lovely with clear shallow waters and had a Reggae Bar playing the most relaxing reggae tunes!! The Fiesta Milord in Ibiza was probably the best holiday iv ever had! Only one bad point! You have to pay 4 euros a DAY for a safe!! Which I thought was crazy! But all in all an amazing holiday and would recommended it to anyone.

Myself and my husband and 4 year old stayed at the hotel for 10 days in May and it was absolutely brilliant. definately one of the best holidays we have had. The food was fantasic . our room was cleaned everyday and the rest of the hotel was spotless, Great location and we enjoyed staying by the pool and paddle on the beach on most days. Staff were so friendly and always said hola as was passed by. The view was great looking over the bay and in the evning the sunset was truly magical we went to a beach bar just across the way to the left of the hotel down a little dirt track and to watch the sunset it was a memory making experience, Would defo go back loved Ibiza,
