“Perfect for my children”
Reviewed 26 January 2014

We stayed here last July for the 1st 2 weeks of the summer hols . I have 2 boys aged 9 &5 when we travelled they absolutely loved it here ,so much we are returning in July this year !!food was great we are not fussy eaters and neither are my children so everyday we ate well . Splash pool is freezing but it didn't seem to bother the kids and some days it was so hot the freezing water was very welcomed .The main pool can get very very busy ,and cramped around the pool with sun beds etc but I decided that that is because we chose the busiest time to go .Evening entertainment is fine we don't really bother with it as we prefer to sit outside .The swap box is a fab idea helped us a lot .The hotel is spotless and all staff are very friendly .The little beach is lovely we even swam at night .Its not the best hotel I've ever been to but was an all rounder and my children loved it so if they are happy we are happy !!!!

we traveled here for the first 10 days of october with 3 kids 23months, 5yr & 8yr. The weater was still hot. although did start to cool down our last few days with a little rain that only lasted 20 minuits then dried up quickly. the hotel is basically on the most beautiful beach this made our holiday, along with the brilliant kids club and extra partys they do at night the best. if u love a beach like us then ur love it here, there is some old steps that lead from hotel gardens down to beach which is a public beach but so well hidden from road that u would'nt see it if not staying at this hotel, we did ask at reception if theres a way to beach with out the steps to which they direct you outside hotel door then right round outside of hotel which takes a while, but we noticed a good entrance in gardens with a gate that is shut but not locked so we just pushed it open to cut to beach.... much quicker!!!! the hotel doses look a little old in places but perfectly clean everywhere it has a really nice family feel to this place it felt like everyone staying there got to know each other, just a hello in the lift or a chat round the pool its nice, kids loved the splash pool we always got a sun bed, any time of day. the food here was the best we have had for a long time so yummy. we walked a few times in to town its a 20min walk without the kids!! the harbour is nice we loved the water taxi. we took a few different routes to sight see but agreed where we were staying was nicer!!!! perfect family hoilday if you just want nice beach and good food.

Room Tip: large family rooms.

The Positive points first, our room was spotlessly clean and made up every day. The so called "partial" sea view was in fact a very good sea view and certainly good enough to watch the sun set over the horizon. The hotel has a medioum sized sandy beach within a two minute walk which is clean and has its own independant bar/cafe - there are a few pedal boats for those wanting to venture out and I'd recommend bringing a snorkal to watch the fish in the clear waters. There is also a small Aquarium nearby and another waterside bar which along with a small general store and pub make up the only tourist orientated establishments in the small resort.
The Negative, and this depends on your personal preference - the food was not the most amazing in an all inclussive, there was retetation and the usual blandness that goes into trying not to offend so many different European tastes. The chicken dishes especially were hard to distinguish from night to night - the curry wasnt much different to the sweet and sour or the Hunters chicken for instance. We stayed one week and i think two weeks would have resulted in more dining out occasions. There was only one restaurant unlike some hotels which have additional specialist restaurants if you fancied a change. The Breakfast buffet was also good. The bar was pretty much the same as anywhere all inclussive , with the same syruppy and low alcohol versions of spirits. The beer was fine but the free wine was almost undrinkable.
Entertainment was carried out by the enthusiastic and busy team but no better or worse than the norm. The guests were a mix of mostly Brits and Germans with Dutch, French, Spannish, Potuguese and East Europeans too so quite cosmopolitan.
Would I come back - Yes but a week would be enough

Room Tip: The so called partial sea views do in fact have a good view of the coastline and the surrounding hil...

Stayed here for a week in October, couldn't fault the hotel at all.
Very clean, fantastic food and plenty of variety. The drinks were local but no different to branded drinks at home. Entertainment was enjoyable and staff very friendly. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the over abundance of Germans!!!!

We stayed at the taint for the 3rd time. As always a brilliant stay, perfect for a lazy holiday. Activities all day for both kids and adults. Brilliant kids club activities for when it gets too hot. Brilliant food not at all repetitive. Rooms clean and adequate. By far it's the entertainment staff that make your holiday. Already booked for may 2014 can't wait. We have trialled as a young family of 4, and with grandparents. Excellent location no Ibiza party noise.

we stayed at the tanit from sept 25 until oct 9 2013 the hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly the food was alright but a bit boring after the first week, not to much to do in the resort had to go to san Antonio for some good entertainment .my biggest problem was the room we went with my partner and two children and are eldest daughter and her twin boys who are 2 years old we booked joining rooms which was alright for are daughter as she had plenty of room for her and the twins, but in are room you couldn't move in as they put two beds in it for me and my partner and a bed each for are 14 year daughter and 15 year old son needless to say there was no room to sit or have any privacy in the room, we normally stay at a first choice holiday village where if there are four of you you have two rooms .needless to say we wont be going back to the tanit.

Room Tip: if you go with older children 14 to16 book two rooms

Stayed at this hotel 19th- 26th October, and must say I cannot fault it in any way. The food was excellent with a fantastic choice, the hotel was spotless, hotel staff were very helpful cheerful and and smart.
The animation team worked hard and put on some great night time entertainment. Drinks although not branded were very good and very generous measures. The 3 pools were kept very clean with Plenty of sunbeds, children' s pool was great with two slides and a drenching bucket (very popular with the kids).
The hotel is in a very quiet area a good 20 min walk into San Antonio 6 euros in a taxi, only one bar and one supermarket close by. Would defiantly Return to this hotel

Room Tip: Pool Rooms get evening sun with great sunsets
