Although we come here every year it is out of convenience rather than for the service or value. Karting isn't cheap and we spend a fortune in this place as it's a treat for our three boys. However, with the exception of the very pleasant bar staff, the other members of staff are very rude to customers. This is not due to a language problem either. Often the karts are not working properly and the staff are reluctant to change them if you get a dud one. Imagine the annoyance when you have paid for five of you to have a kart race and one of the karts stops working.
Last year this happened to us. When eventually the guy got off his backside to help my son with his kart which had ceased to work, my husband asked if they could restart the game as the point was that they were racing each other. The guy said no and by the time my son got his replacement kart there was only time for him to do a couple of laps with everyone else. The rest of the time he was going around on his own, which was no fun. There were no other customers so it wasn't a case of us holding anyone up. We tried to complain to the management but they were at first unavailable, passed the buck and then didn't want to know.
