So Tulp is a cocktail bar that serves food. Good location and nice cocktails, though not the best value on the strip. What really really lets them down is the slow service with attitude.
Ok, so food isnt their main offering, and there was 9 of us ordering, but we ordered 5 meal deals, 2 burgers, some chips...it wasnt rocket science. And yet almost every order had an issue- hair in the salad, the wrong burger, uncooked pizza...and that's just the stuff that arrived. When we queried the whereabouts of the missing plates we were told to "chill...I can't make the oven go any faster". Maybe not, but you can ensure you have correct kitchen capacity and/or keep prepared dishes warm til you can serve the meal to all parties. We did come to eat together after all, not have half the party watch while the other half eat.
5 meal deals included ice cream for dessert, so they brought us 2 cornettos. They insisted that was what we were due. How do you share 2 cornettos between 5? And since when does ice cream for pudding = cornetto anyway.
When we cut our losses and asked for the bill, they brought us the change from someone elses bill. We asked twice for the correct bill and they ignored us for a half hour. Woeful service from start to finish and incredibly bad attitude from the staff. Tulp, if you can't do food, don't put out a menu. And if it takes you 15 mins per cocktail, get more staff.
Useles and expensive. We wont be back.

We are not big partiers, or ravers or clubbers or whatever. We like a nice relaxed place to enjoy a drink and a chat. This bar is great for this. I love the decor and the quirkyness of it! The drinks are well priced and are tasty too!

Cool evening outside watching the sun go down over the harbour. Neon lights illuminated the tables underneath once the sun had escaped us and blankets were on standby for those of us that got a little cool. Friends ordered the hamburgers, looked amazing. I ordered the Goats cheese Salad as a main, it tasted so good words cannot describe. I would return to Ibiza just for that salad. Seriously. The staff were good, very relaxed, no rush. Just sit back and chill. This place is worth the wait x

My boyfriend and I visited here in August and September plenty of times and with friends.

Sit on the sofas, kopparberg mixed fruit, Cajun chicken, deep house music, pool table and on the beach front.

There's hammocks in the shade to chill in.
We had plenty of lunches and dinners here during both our visits and all was great.

We even came in while waiting to go to the airport sat round the back with out suitcases, had lunch and lazed around on the sofas :)

chilled, chilled, chilled..... you have to remember that once in ibiza, if you can't get down into first gear quick, you will become frustrated and impatient.
Lush music provided by lovely Nico. we made friends with the staff on first day (stayed at ses savines next door). Bar bar next door is expensive and nowhere near as friendly.
This is the only bar on the front without touts trying to get you in. Says it all.
Loved it. Would recommend the boat trip was a real laugh. Child friendly (although my friend and I both aged 39 left kids at home) and great food and drink.
Beautiful views and beautiful staff.
Will be back in 2014 xx
