“Elite hotel.... When central park is overbooked...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 October 2012 via mobile

Arrived at 3am and staff were very helpful, although they had overbooked the hotel. as there was 5 of us due to share 2 rooms, we got offered a 2 bedroom apartment over the road. It had air con, 5 beds, corner sofa, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, excellent!! Elite apartments. Highly recommend these!

It was a but quiet, perfect to sleep, and we could still use main hotel pool. We were right by the egg and the 24 hour shop. Perfect location in san an, but next year I'm staying in bora bora. The big clubs there are 100 times better than eden and the west end is a grot hole.

If you want to be central in san an then this hotel is perfect at 9 quid a night! Right by party buses, main bus stop, main clubs, port, beach, west end, mambos.

I stayed here for a week in August 2012 with a group of friends (4 girls) and despite being a bit scared by some of the reviews we read prior to going, we actually had a great time at Central Park Apartments.

We booked a 4 bedroom studio apartment which was a decent size, a little small if you're staying for over a week but fine for us. We were expecting 4 beds in the apartment however there were two beds, a sofa bed and a pull out mattress, but it wasn't a problem. Upon arriving the apartment was very clean, there was fresh bedding and I couldn't fault it. Maids came 3 times a week to replace the sheets and empty the bins which was good and there were always friendly and helpful.
The main downside of Central Parks is the lack of air conditioning, and I'm surprised they haven't invested in any yet as I think it would encourage more people to go. Our room did get quite warm but as we were in the 'V' we had a sea breeze and we also rented a fan, so sleeping wasn't a problem which surprised me. The reception area also had a fridge where you could buy cold drinks and water for quite cheap which was great if you're getting too warm and need a cold drink asap. We spoke to other guests who said their rooms were unbearably hot so I think it depends which room you get and I'd recommend asking for a one in the 'v'. Noise levels weren't bad at all, despite being located near to the 'West End' and being full of young party goers, I didn't hear much noise even with the balcony door open, and I slept pretty well (although I did wear earplugs just in case).
This brings me onto the location; the apartments are located very close to the 'West End' which is one of the main party places in San Antonio and so was very convenient to walk to and from. The area was full of bars, restaurants, clubs and shops and so everything was on your doorstep which was great for us. Also the beach was right across the road which we loved, and I couldn't fault the location at all.
The pool at Central Parks is on the roof which was great as you could sunbathe without worrying about people on the balcony's watching/throwing things. The pool area was quite small and did get very busy during the day but there was plenty of room for everyone and there were lots of sunbeds to use so we enjoyed sunbathing up there. There's also a poolside bar which serves food, drinks and cocktails and played music which made it very fun and upbeat. There were two pools, a shallow and a deep one. Neither were particularly big so don't expect to use them for swimming lengths but there's enough room to cool off and relax in so it was perfect for us. Everyone up there was friendly, and so we really enjoyed the days chilling by the pool.
The staff at the apartments were actually really friendly and helpful. We arrived in Ibiza around 12 hours before check in which was a bit of an ordeal however the staff did everything they could to make our wait bearable and even let us in our room early. There's a nice computer area where you can pay to go online which is great if you're a Facebook addict or want to chat to friends/family.
Ultimately I'd sum Central Parks as cheap and cheerful, it's definitely a 3 star apartments complex. It's not superb or luxurious but it's great as a basic base to enjoy Ibiza. It's definitely a young person's place and I actually enjoyed my stay there and would use again.

Room Tip: Rooms in the 'V' tend to be cooler.

stayed here with my mate and wont be staying again ..very dated hotel 2 lifts there both need fixing they take ages to move no air con in lift and very small which was awful especially if your going on the top floor luckily we were on 2nd which we suffered enough..no air con in room which was disgusting we left the balcony door open all the time for a bit air...not good neither when your trying to blow dry and straighten your hair there was a few times we were close to fainting...must say tho the roof top pool area is great lovely bar staff well the bloke that is...its a very lively hotel which we thought was great and its central to the strip aswell as we were only there to party .....defo not a hotel for families so keep away infact san antonio is not a place for families....the fridge inside our room was manky and needed defrosting aswell infact the whole apartment could of done with a clean so that shows it doesnt happen that often..beds really uncomfortable to

Room Tip: make sure you have air con

2nd time in san Antonio. 10 of us stayed her for 5 nights. So had 5rooms between us each room different some very small others 3x bigger so its pot luck what you get. Only 3 rooms where ready but only had to wait an hour so hung around each others rooms. Wasn't that noisy really was expecting a lot worse . Great location felt safe as you had to have security pass on you at all times and security gaurd on duty at night. Friend got mugged on a night out in west end as went for walk on own recommend to stay together.

On arrival a lot of long dark hair all over my room floor which was annoying as we had to wait to get in as it was being "cleaned" told reception who said cleaner would come back as only a few doors down. Never came... again the next day by which point I had gave it a quick sweep myself not expecting the Hilton bit don't wanna spend 5days with some randomers hair stuck to our feet. Room served its purposes quick sleep shower and out

Hire a fan 5euro a day rooms are so warm.

Balcony door didn't lock so we a shared a safe

No area to get ready so made a make shift dressing table out of bed side table. Didn't use the pool area it did look clean spent our time at different beaches. Wouldnt recommend you can much better out there for similar prices.

Great place to stay... right near the west end strip, ibiza rocks and es paridis but the staff there are so rude!! swearing at a group of women..... short tempered... never smiled or spoke to you..... unhappy and msierable! If your going to enjoy your holiday dont go to the pool bar..... everything is such an effort for the older barman there.... very abbrupt... rude.... and generally just doesnt want to do his job!
Rooms were standard and good for what we wanted though!

The staff were very friendly and the location was literally Central to most things.
Close to San Antonio beach and Ibiza Rocks bar/ beach bars and 'big clubs' in san antonio such as Eden. Only a short distance (5 minute walk) from the 'west end' strip and 10 minutes from 'sunset strip' with cafe del mar etc.

cab ranks are directly outside the apparment for any other clubs you may need to get to.

This is an ideal hotel to stay for a convienient cheap and cheerful place if you are not planning to stay in the hotel for long periods.

It is quit boisterous full of youmg and older groups of people in Ibiza for a party weekend/week. Not to stay if you want a goods night sleep.

The rooms were not great but for the price what we expected and had ammentities required and staff more than happy to help. the rooms were hot but we knew there was no a/c although you are offered fans at a fee.

I would recommend thisd hotel if you are looking for location rather than luxury.

Just arrived back stayed here for 3 nights, easy check in staff were friendly room we had was facing in the V so once door was opened the breeze through kept the room quite cool, others in the group were other side facing Eden/beach and was quite hot but nothing unbearable! NOW THEN this is our third trip to Ibiza and this hotel is an absolute must if you want a Party and great location we had after parties until daylight the pool is decent no problems getting beds great view and tunes! we didn't bother with a safe we just hid our money in cases and took cable ties. I can understand people writing a bad review over stolen money but people complaining about standards of hotels in Ibiza don't deserve to be there. man up enjoy yourself!

one thing I will say is be absolutely on your guard when approached by prostitutes/luckylucky men they are very good at what they do and will ruin your night if you let them!

Room Tip: rooms facing V are good but not essential don't lose your hotel pass sleep on balcony
