The location of Central Park was amazing, so close to absolutely everything you need. Short walk for the West End and Sunset Strip. There are also plenty of shops, eateries and bars right beside the hotel. The rooftop pool was great - reasonably priced drinks, good bar man, fantastic views, great music (although the same songs were played often) and there was never a problem getting a sunbed. They are very strict on you eating/drinking any food or drink that has not be purchased at the poolside bar. Got a lovely sea view balcony. The room itself was okay - basic but absolutely fine for what paid and for the little amount of time we spent in it. Would recommend Central Park for a short stay.
The rooms are a little dated and need some refurbishment. When we arrived into the room, I noticed straight away there was dirt on the floor which gave me the impression that the room had not been cleaned properly. The sheets on the bed were quite old looking and had a few holes in them. We paid for what we got!More
