“Not Good”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 May 2014

I went to this hotel on the 4th of May 2014 for 8 days all inclusive. They gave us a list of drinks for all inclusive option, however when we went to get them they only had a limited amount and unfortunately not the ones I like. We decided we would have to put up with this and only drank coffee or a glass of lager.
The food was always cold and not much choice although there was a microwave to warm it up.
None of the facilities were open and they were still painting inside the hotel.
They gave us a room above the outside bar and pool area, it was so noisy with people out there until early hours and loud music playing that we couldn't get any sleep this and the people in adjoining rooms slamming doors, shouting and having TV on very loud until 4am was a nightmare. I asked at reception for another room at the back but was told that the hotel had just opened and none of the rooms were ready.
After 3 sleepless nights we checked out and moved to another hotel at our own expense. Would not go to Els Pins again

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room at back of hotel. This has lovely views over the sea and is very quiet.

hotel was fine. staff really helpful and nice apart from the young security guard who was a bit of a **** his attitude and the way he spoke to people was shocking. coming home after a night out we had forgotten our key so had to chap our room door and the next thing we know he comes running up the stairs shouting and being very aggressive

Ok, my partner and i stayed here last summer and never got round to posting a review but now i've finally joined tripadvisor i couldn't resist.

You've got to remember with this hotel, you get what you pay for! It was a cheap option and so you know its not going to be perfect.

The hotel itself is a bit of an ugly building but the rooms have been recently refurbished, all with air conditioning. We were on the top floor with an inland view (Whats with the massive gorilla??) and the room was very pleasant, always cleaned and fresh towels every day.

The staff were a tad on the grumpy side, probably sick of serving young brits copious amounts of alcohol on the all inclusive package. I always found speaking a tiny bit of spanish went a long way, they always appreciated it when you tried. It always infuriated me when someone just shouted at the barmaid '2 beers please.' You are in Spain, you could at least try and speak spanish.

The food when we were there seemed fairly good, a few iffy choices on a couple of nights but there were always alternatives.

The all inclusive was pretty decent, good value for money when you think of the amount of alcohol you drink when you're in Ibiza for a week.

Overall, i think i would go back to this hotel again because its good value for money, you're a bit out of San Antonio which i thought was nice, only a 20 minute walk away from the madness and you could get away from it all if you didn't want to go out every night.

Room Tip: Take a room on the top floor, they seem to keep noisy, young groups on the lower floors.

Thinking what to write here is tricky and as such I'm going to try and be objective.

I can't grumble too much as we got our all inclusive deal for a bargain price. And I think for the price we paid we got a relatively good deal.

The hotel itself is well located near restaurants and bars and a short 25 minute walk into the West End where you can find all of the 'excitement'.

The rooms were adequate and were cleaned to a good standard on a daily basis. Similarly the communal areas were well kept and the pool area was nice. The real disappointment at Els Pins was the food quality and the service.

The food was genuinely UNBEARABLE, I would say I only ate chips and salad from the dining room and the occasional toastie from the bar when snacks were available. All other sustenance had to be obtained from the local shops and restaurants which is disappointing when you have paid for al inclusive.

The staff appeared overworked and miserable and could barely muster the enthusiasm to crack a smile which was particularly sad and did deteriorate from the overall experience.

If you are coming here happy with the last minute bargain you got and have an open mind you'll not be too disappointed with your holiday. However if you arrive with high expectations, prepare to be very disappointed!!

This hotel was a girls holiday, location was a bit far from san antonio however further enough to escape the noise. The walk every night would be 30mins unless we got the last boat. and a 30euro taxi ride to den bossa. Staff were extremely rude and food was horrendous. Whilst there the safes got broken into and families robbed of their passports and money. This is definitely not a family hotel and for the families there I felt extremely sorry for due to the pure rating of the hotel, but also wasn't a party hotel just very boring. The pool was the size of two lie lows and the beach was dirty, you had to pay for sunbeds and you also got harassed by lucky-lucky men and women every 5 minutes. Of a night time there would be a fifteen minute queue to get a drink and when you got to get a drink you were allowed one per person and the cups were the size of a petri dish. Getting drunk was impossible and in the end we ended up buying our own alcohol, as the alcohol was watered down and the bar shut at 11pm. Beds were what I could imagine prison beds to be. Friends stayed in hotels for the same price across the road and wow could we tell the difference! Shop around and don't go to this hotel unless it's a last option.

This is the only hotel that we've ever returned to in over 30 years of travel, it's location and laid back atmosphere are really great and the staff are brilliant! There is a small beach at the back of the hotel that gives access to some nice coastal walks and beach bars.

When we came to book and our usual hotel was closed we took this one as we were desperate to just get back!
The hotel is in our usual location and perfect for what we are used to.
It was a bit dated...the room had rust in the bath & the shower was wobbly but thats what you get for what you pay.
Has the potential to be a great hotel, lots of land, pools, golf etc that are all just a bit tired (but clean)
Right on a little private beach which our hotel overlooked. Literally walk out the dining area and your on the beach.
Travelling with a 2 year old i was expecting sleepless nights but the hotel was so quiet we didnt hear anything after midnight.
The dining area was spotless every night and 1 waitress went above and beyond to help, she was a delight.
Food...you get what you pay for. Im a really fussy eater & always struggle but was fine on this occasion.
Great location. As its our 7th time to the area we knew it was 20 minds from the airport so cost 26 euros in a taxi to save on transfers.
Will be going back again next year without a doubt
