“our lovely holiday”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 June 2014

We arrived on the 13th of june, and were not disappointed, the hotel rating is 3 star, but, with a few tweeks, could easily be a 4 star.
We had seen reviews about the hotel, some saying the food was terrable, and, the staff were not friendly????,we found the complete opposite, the staff were very friendly, and, although there was not as much choice of dishes in the resturant,as we had had in 4 strar hotels, what there was,was delicious, and,a good selection.
this side of the bay was quite, and,we slept well, all bar the last night, thanks to some inconsiderate young girls in room 311b,if your reading this, you should be ashamed of yourselves, but, after reporing them to the reception desk,it was all sorted, very quickly.
My wife and i,would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone, very good value for money :)

Room Tip: Room 308/309.or 310 all have unspoilt views over the bay .

My husband and myself have just got back from a really lovely holiday from Els Pins Hotel.

We stayed on an all inclusive basis for 7 nights and even though this hotel is only a 3 star we were more than happy with the service we received-all the staff were really friendly, hardworking and helpful. I am baffled with some comments on here that the staff were unfriendly-did you even stay in the same hotel? The food was good-not a huge selection but this is a 3 star hotel so I don't understand why some people who review this hotel complain. And yes, it's a bit 'tired' in some areas but again if you're looking for luxury go and stay in a 5 star hotel and pay at least a £1,000 more.

The best rooms are at the back of the hotel as you get a superb view across the bay. Can be a bit noisy when the disco is on but it does stop at 11.30. The rooms at the front of the hotel overlook the swimming pool which was mainly the domain of the groups of boys and girls. These groups were generally well behaved although on our last night we did have a lot of noise from just along the corridor. My husband went to reception about this and within 5 minutes the Security Guard was knocking on their door with a warning.

There is a sandy terrace at the back of the hotel and just to the right is a nice stretch of beach where we spent most of our days.

The rooms are very clean and the housekeeping staff come in every day to clean and make the beds. Yes, the bath in our room had seen better days but I didn't expect a whirlpool Jacuzzi in a 3 star hotel!

All in all very good value for money and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Room Tip: Room 308 on third floor has excellent view across the bay.

I stayed in Hotel Club Els Pins last October with a friend and this time I stayed on my own 29th May for a week.
The hotel is in a lovely location with a small sandy area at the back of the hotel right on the bay in San Antonio.
I was made to feel very welcome, the room was spotless, cleaned every day.
I liked the food, but I like continental food and I am not bothered about having an English Breakfast, so cold meat and cheese for breakfast and a great choice of salads and meats, hot and cold for dinner suited me well.
The staff were always really helpful even when a young lad was so drunk he couldnt speak or move, the receptionist came and sorted him out and got him into his room to sleep it off.
Not sure what it would be like in high season as I stayed just before high season started.
One tip, buy a lilo from the shop over the road from Els Pins, cost me 4.95 Euros, a godsend as all I wanted to do was lounge on the beach and read.
All in all a lovely hotel for a great price. It is 3*, so dont expect 5* luxury, but for the price it is an amazingly good deal

We stayed here in June 2013. It was cheap and we wanted an inexpensive getaway, which this provided.

The good points:
Close to the beach
Clean but basic rooms.
Generally clean hotel.
Easy access to town centre
Hotel was reasonably gay friendly (we're a same sex couple)
They let us keep the room all day on the day we checked out, for 15 Euros.

Bad points:
Aircon in room did not work and despite asking numerous times to have it fixed, and an engineer even coming to look at it, nothing was done about it.
Food was repetitive and bland (but edible).
Pool area was loud (this is very much a young clubbers hotel).
No daytime entertainment
A lot of drug takers around (not a place for children!!)
Rude staff - not too bothered about helping with issues such as lack of aircon.

All in all, a decent trip. The hotel isn't terrible, but you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a clean 'base' to explore the Island, then this may be for you; but if you're looking for a calm, relaxing holiday, this may not be ideal.

I stopped here with some guys on a stag do and wasn't expecting a great deal. It has to be said though the staff were nice, pleasant and helpful. The place was generally clean although our toilet had a leak which made it very unpleasant. Some of the food was ok to. Nothing to write home about but definitely not as bad as some places I've stayed and they genearally make an effort.

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking the bay!

Had 'all inclusive'. Breakfast pretty bad as was lunch. Funnily enough dinner was pretty good with grilled fish and tasty salads. Cheap so not complaining. The local booze matched local brands.

Pool area full of aggressive chavs on first holiday away from parents; They all seem hocked up on cheap cocaine and lager. I don't mind the noise but they were literally shouting (wan*** and g**) abuse at weaker guests at the hotel. They obviously hadn't got lucky the whole break and most hadn't seen their feet for a number of years. The girls (if you can call them that) were just as bad as the blokes. Not once must they have thought "hang on a minute, people don't actually want to hear my voice". I was edgy and ready to lose my temper.

San Antonio had no class and was like Blackpool in a Spanish island. If your a single lad and want some class go out in Ibiza town it is only 2E on the bus. Full of other Europeans on holiday more smiley, happy and friendly. Great during the day and at night. I also recommend the rock climbing and cycling to private beaches.

We went to this hotel last July and enjoyed it so much we have booked again for this year,

I will be honest about this review. When we first got to the hotel i thought id looked run down however once inside the hotel it is clean and air conditioned. We were travelling as a family (2 small children) and the facitlities for the kids were great. The seperate kids pool was perfect for my two with sun beds round it so you can keep an eye on them. there is also a playground and a kids club during the day. At night they do a kids disco and bingo plus a show on every night. We never heard any noise or bother from the party goers. We were given a room on the 3rd floor at the end of the building (poolside) the view wasnt great but we were away from the disco noise (which stops at 12pm) The hotel is right on the beach which is clean. There are shops and resturants close by if you are half board. We went all inclusive and i could not fault the food. There was always something different on offer at every meal. The food was hot and tasty. The drinks were equally ok, better than other all inclusives we've been too. The rooms were clean and adequate for the money we paid.

Room Tip: at the end of the building on the higher floors.
