The last time I was on this Island was over 40 years ago. I've always wanted to return but was afraid it would not hold up to the first visit. Although many towns have expanded, the island. so much is still the same. I was so pleased that Cala n Porter still has that relaxed feeling. Driving on the Island is a pleasure.

We hate long flights, so this suited us perfectly. We stayed in the Playa Azul hotel in Cala 'n Porter. Beach is gorgeous and only 181 steps down ! Nightlife just right. Great for couples, and young families. Not lively enough for 18-30 types, and long may it stay that way. We will definitely be going back.

In capital of Menorca Mahon, there are plenty of beautiful places to go and enjoy the seafood. Or if you fancy burger and chips, let it be!

Great place for a relaxing holiday, especially if you have a young family. A limited number of hotels, but mostly self catering villas and apartments.
The coastline is spectacular, with lots of tiny inlets and safe sandy beaches. If you want to go clubbing go to Mallorca instead.
