“Thermal Spa Superb”
Reviewed 15 June 2013

Spent almost three hours in the thermal spa, brilliant. Two optional circuits through the spa, an energizing circuit and a relaxing circuit. 3 different saunas, beautiful flotation pool, many different shower experiences, heated beds, a lemon pool, a sulphur steam-room, an ice igloo, a walled garden if you want a stroll between activities, a plunge pool, a pool with a current to swim against, a really nice experience.
The Balneario pool is also very good and very large, numerous water jets, a lazy river, jacuzzi's etc and all in really pleasant thermal water. Your skin feels so good after being in the water. Loved this place and will definitely return for a day trip with the children.

“Balneario De Archena - great day out!”
Reviewed 16 May 2013

We have a holiday apartment in nearby Spa Valley and walked over to the spa for the first time in April 2013. We were advised of a €15 deal whereby you use the outdoor pools and have lunch included. Although we loved the pools - such a tranquil setting and very clean, the lunch was very disappointing. I would definitely advise eating before or taking a picnic. It was very boring, bland, almost British food which is the last thing I want when I'm in Spain.

However, the food is the only negative comment I can make. We bought our swimming caps from reception and have kept them as we certainly intend to go back. I would love to try the indoor spa and treatments but they were considerably more expensive so I'll probably try those when we go out in the winter. The water in the outside pools is so warm - it took me a bit by surprise but I soon got used to swimming in bath temperature. The hydro areas are lovely too.

I'm going to Archena again in 2 weeks for a few days.....I just can't wait to get in the spa again!

“Family Day Out”
Reviewed 13 April 2013

Decided to go to Archena for a family day out. It's a wonderful location with plenty of parking. It's pretty easy to find though you do have to keep an eye out for some of the sign posts. The weather the day we went was fantastic and it is a real sun trap and there were plenty of sun beds. You have to wear a swim hat when in the water, these were on sale at €3.5. We only used the swimming pools which nave some great "water massage" therapies. There is also a small lazy river which was great fun, as well as Jacuzi's and a cold plunge pool.

Our only regret from our visit was that we chose to have lunch there, which was a big mistake. Only the restaurant was open and none of the snack bars. The food was terrible and very expensive for what you got, my advise would be to take a picnic.

All in all a great place to spend some time but eat first or take a picnic.

“Love it here”
Reviewed 11 April 2013 via mobile

Whenever we come to torrevieja outside of summer, we always spend a day here with the kids. The water is very warm, the pools are large, there's loads of jets, jacuzzis, rivers and a kids pool. The views of the mountains are stunnig. One of my favourite places to go, just wish it was a bit closer to our house!

“Love it”
Reviewed 7 April 2013

The pool at Archena is lovely in the winter the water is warm and with all the water jets it is a way of spending a few hours relaxing. the new cafe is very good for drinks but We didn't eat there. it can get quite busy, you have to wear a swim hat which can be purchased for about 3 euros each or you can take your own. A lot of people take their dressing gown and flip flops but you don't need to, there is a about 25 meter distance outside between the two pools. There is an outside area which you can sunbathe in the summer which is very nice to have a read.
