We returned today from a week long stay here. Located in a quiet residential area with lovely neighbours and just a short drive or a few minute walk to the marina area of Playa Blanca with the remainder of the bars and restaurants nearer to the port a little further.
The villa is wonderful with a few homely touches giving it a more welcoming feel than other villas we have rented previously with everything you will need during your stay provided, the welcome pack provided is also a lovey touch.
Internet based TV and wifi are provided, we aren't ones for TV while away, especially when there's the private pool waiting for you outside.
The wifi isn't lightning speed, if that makes any difference to you, but was perfectly adequate to stream music all day long while catching some rays and video calling the kids (aka the dogs).
We turned up before we could access the villa and it was undergoing it's clean with the pool also being cleaned at this time and also half way through our stay - again something we have rarely experienced with other villa rentals.
The only problem is everyone that's visited before must think it's as fab as we do as it's unavailable for our next leave!
Couldn't recommend more.
Will be our first choice of accommodation when we return to Lanzarote in the future!!
My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful two week holiday at the villa caldera, the villa was perfect, exactly as described, in a quiet area, yet close to the marina and the main resort, which is easily reached via local bus, or the low priced taxi's.
The whole process of booking the villa was painless and made easy with great communications, and we were well cared for at the villa, thanks to the always help full Mike and Claire.
We enjoyed it so much we hope to return again.
So if your thinking of holidaying in Lanzarote, this is the the resort, and certainly the villa.

My wife and I stayed in Villa Caldera for 18 nights in May and also had the company of my son, his partner and our granddaughter for a week during this period. The villa was in excellent condition, complete with all the relevant facilities of which we particularly indulged in the heated pool and outdoor barbeque most evenings. The local supermarket, a couple of minutes walk away, is well stocked with everything including an impressive range of Rioja vino! A further 10 minutes will take you to an even bigger supermarket (Ropers) where there is also a lively ‘Sports Bar’ showing all the major events.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Claire and Mike were very helpful with advice and the whole booking process with the owners was super-efficient and streamlined from start to finish. I’m happy to recommend this villa to others.

My partner and I stayed in Villa Caldera for 12 nights from late March to early April 2015. The villa is ideally located, just a 10 minute walk from Marina Rubicon and 30 minute walk from central Playa Blanca. There are two well stocked and reasonably priced supermarkets nearby and the bus stops are very close too (only 1.40 euros a ticket to central Playa Blanca). Marina Rubicon is very pretty and peaceful, with nice shops and restaurants (I recommend El Mano restaurant). And the villa is very close to the beautiful Papagayo beaches.
The villa itself was lovely, very clean and had all the amenities we needed during our stay. The villa owners and the manager (Kate) were really helpful and friendly before, during and after our stay. But at the same time left us in peace during the holiday (no impromptu visits while we were there). The pool was clean and warm. We did pay for the pool to be heated, it would have been a little too cold at that time of year otherwise.
We loved our visit to Lanzarote and I would definitely recommend Villa Caldera to anyone considering a holiday in Playa Blanca.

Lovely villa with good quality fixtures and fittings and plenty of crockery and cutlery for daily use.comfortable beds etc.
Position is ideal as 2 mins from a good supermarket and a 15 min easy walk to the Marina with excellent restaurants and taxis are so easy and cheap . We felt the villa was in the nicer quieter part of Player Blanca and no need for a car.An organised trip with last min .com on the short tour approx 4 hrs is a must to the Volcanos.
Despite gale force winds which was unusual we have had an excellent holiday and so easy for walking everywhere, so flat.Hopefully we will be back.
Owners more than 100% helpful from booking to returning.

My partner and I spent 10 days in Villa Caldera. We enjoyed our stay: the house was sparkling clean (thanks Kate!), the pool nicely warm, everything we needed was there.
We took care of this house like our home and we enjoy the Marina Rubicon or Playa Blanca.
I ran every other day along the coastline, the views over Fuerteventura were slpendid and the fresh ocean breeze was rejuvenating!
I would highly recommend Playa Blanca, especially if you are looking for a 'battery recharging' holiday, whether you are a family or a group of friends.
