The villa was great, plenty of space to relax in, and the pool was a great added touch of luxury that was nice to use after much wandering around the Marina and in to Playa Blanca itself. The Villa is in a very quiet part, and could be a little tricky to find... If you find the nearby HyperDino supermarket, go up the hill (on the right :)) from there, straight across the mini-roundabout, at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit toward Lanzarote Green Villas, take the next right (toward Lanzarote Green Villas) , at the end you're in Calle de Cyac, turn left. The Villa is on the corner here. Front entrance is just down a little driveway. We left the car in the car parking in the main part though as there was plenty of it.

Supermarket for groceries was literally just down the road, we tended to pick up bits and pieces as needed on our walks back from the Marina. The Marina was around 20 minutes walk. There could have been a shorter route, but we decided to stick with the way we knew.

Would advise using car/taxi in the evening for returning.

If you are planning on hiring a car, and not using it very much, at the airport opt OUT of the ability to return the car empty. We barely used ours and paid around 70 euros for the privilege of returning the car pretty much full. We went with Budget (pick up from AVIS). We paid roughly 9 Euros a day extra on top of the standard car hire to avoid the 900 euro excess for any damage. Would recommend this, as the car was checked very thoroughly when we returned it. This is nothing to do with the Villa, just a useful travel tip :)

“Great time staying at Casa Vitturi”

Just back from a very enjoyable week's stay at the Casa Vitturi Villa in Playa Blanca. Stayed at the Villa with my wife and two young children (who we couldn't get out of the pool for a week!).

The Villa is very nice as can been seen by the photos and I would highly recommend this villa to anyone. The Villa is located in a very quiet area a bit of a distance from the Marina / Playa Blanca - though still within walking distance or a quick car Journey.

There are quite a few unfinished and uninhabited Villas in the surrounding area - but dont let this put you off. The Villa felt very secure and a Security Guard seemed to be patrolling the surrounding area day and night.

The pool was large enough to enjoy and the kids loved it very much. We had mistakenly forgot to have the pool heating switched on for our stay, but after contacting Riccardo someone was at the Villa within the hour to switch it on - you cant go wrong with service like that!

“Relaxing atmosphere”
Reviewed 4 November 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Very enjoyable holiday in a family friendly house/home. The swimming pool was a great hit with our grand-daughter, every day it was a must for her, even after a superb day on the beach. Lots of empty houses in the area which is a real shame, making it feel a little deserted, though it was peaceful!!!! :-)
Use of a car is advantageous though it's a nice walk into Marina Rubicon where there are numerous places to eat and some fantasic shops. The market there on Wednesday and Saturday is to be recommended. Taxi fares are so reasonable if you don't feel like walking home with all your shopping. Also there is very good bus service into Playa Blanca (half hourly) just a short 5-8 minute walk from villa, only 1.40 euro and they run until around 10 p.m..
On the whole a good holiday

“Excellent appointed villa in a quiet urbanisation”
Reviewed 1 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We were extremly satisfied with our stay at Casa Vitturi, the description provided by the owner and the pictures did not disappoint. They are extremely accurate. Property is managed by a friendly man who was a little surprised that we found our way to the villa without needing to call him as google maps are not that accurate and the road did take a little while to find.
Check out was just as efficient and once papers were signed to confirm that everything was in order we were on our way.
The villa catered for all of our needs, sunning ourselves by the pool and taking time to have leisurely lunches in the cool shade provided by the conservatory. A supermarket that is well stocked, is only a few minutes away if you chose to walk, while the Rubicon Marina is about a 5 min drive away where there are a few very good restaurants that should cater for all taste.
Similarly the Papagyo beach is nearby, I would recommend that you hire a car as there is a secure parking space at the Vila and it's an excellent base for discovering the rest of the island. As lanzarote is such a small place your never more than an hour from the villa.
If I could fault anything it would only be that my vacation had to end, I will look back at my time at the vitturi with fondness and happy memories of floating on my lilo in the pool free from the noise of other holiday makers while my family just chilled out free from daily distractions as the TV does not have any English channels.
