We've recently returned from a week's stay at Bay Villa. It was our first trip to Lanzarote and we're so glad we stayed there - we didn't want to leave! Paul was so helpful and quick to reply to any questions we had beforehand.
The villa was perfect - clean, spacious and well equipped. The villa is in a nice quiet residential location. We rented a car for the week which was well worth it as I think it would have been a little far to walk to the town with a toddler in tow.
For food shopping, there is a Eurospar and Hyperdino in Playa Blanca but we stumbled across a really good Hyperdino on our last day (typical!) in the Playa Papagago area. There is also a big Lidl near Puerto Del Carmen which we got some amazing big frozen prawns from (about 6 euros for a huge box of 50!)
The new Marina Rubicon was lovely to wander around. We also visited the volcano and the waterpark in Playa Blanca which our little boy loved. One morning, we walked up Mount Roja which is just by the villa, to see the sunrise. Tip: if you're nervous about heights and walking up steep inclines, there is a slightly easier route up if you walk further down the road to get to it. We realised half way up the steep bit :) Beautiful views once you're up there so well worth it.
We ate out a few times during our trip:
Mar Azul in El Golfo - lovely fresh fish which we could see being caught and washed on the beach beside us and really friendly staff who were great with our son's allergies.
Lani's at Marina Rubicon - good food, lovely views of the marina, helpful with allergies and great Sangria ;) - service a little slow though!
Isla Bonita in Playa Blanca - we really weren't impressed with the food or the service here :(
We're so glad we decided to stay at Bay Villa and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to friends and family. Can't wait to go back some day!

Thank you so much for a fantastic week, the villa has everything you need and of a high standard. It's a quiet location for lazy days by the pool, but with everything in easy reach. The owners are really helpful and give you all the information and help you need which is great. The welcome pack on arrival was greatly appreciated as we landed late so let us settle in without the worry of rushing to the shop.
Would definitely recommend this villa for everyone and every occasion.
Thanks again and would love to visit again.

beautiful location,very well equipped comfy and airy. Swimming pool and sunchairs brilliant for hot days. Kitchen well stocked,showers are very powerful. Lounge area is very comfy with a sky package to watch if you don't feel like going out. Beds are comfy. There are ceiling fans which you need in the hotter months as it does get hot in the evening.This villa is ideal for families as its location is peaceful away from the main resort, we hired a car to get the best out of the island and went out several days to visit other resorts.The owner is very informative,helpful and puts your mind at ease when booking,i would recommend highly++++

My family which included 4 adults and 1 12month old stayed there for a week in April 2016 and it was a dream! First of all Allie and Paul, the owners, could not have been more accommodating. A welcome pack was emailed to us before arrival with all we needed to know, not just about the villa but also the area, directions and language. It was easy to find and in a good enough location, but I would recommend a car. Inside the villa was equipped with everything you would need and more, including towels galore! The furnishings outside and particularly the BBQ were fab. Pool was lovely and even though we're weren't blessed with the best weather when there we still made good use of it as it can be heated. 3 of the adults that went are Australian so lanzarote is a rare place for them to go but they adored it and have even looked at ways to go back since! If you are contemplating booking another place then DONT! This has all you need. I've never written another review before in my life but Bay View Villa is well deserving of it.

We have just returned from 2 weeks in this lovely villa. Loads of room, spacious rooms, very clean, all mod cons, everything you need. Quiet location exactly what we needed for a relaxing holiday. Would recommend a car. Pool temperature was perfect and pool was very clean and cleaned once during our stay. The owner was a dream to deal with from the very first enquiry, and throughout and we had one call from guy cleaning pool and one call from person changing bed linen half way through, which was great, we were not hassled throughout our stay. Thank you Paul .
