“Shabby but not chic!”

We are a family of 5 with young children who stayed here for a week with extended family who were staying here for 3 weeks. This villa might have been luxurious once but is in desperate need of renovation. The villa was dusty and dirty, the toilet was filthy- I was glad I'd brought some cleaning supplies with me. The furniture was broken/ scuffed. The sofas in the downstairs living room were filthy and some were missing cushions. The "sky TV" stopped working for a few days when we were there. We slept in the downstairs bedrooms, the beds were awful, uncomfortable and the bedding was old and cheap. The downstairs shower leaked and we had to use the towels to stop it flooding ( I'd brought my own towels for us to use thank goodness!) there was a pool table but only one pool cue was still usable. The swimming pool was over chlorinated, the pool cleaners literally just poured a load of chemicals in and scooped the leaves off the surface, I didn't see any checking of chemical levels. The patio area had cracked tiles and the wooden stair rails to the pool were loose and dangerous. The Vista Lobos resort area had lots of empty unfinished and boarded up villas on the site, not the greatest part of Playa Blanca.
On a more positive note Playa Blanca beach was great and the Marina area was a lovely place to sit, drink coffee and people watch!

“Disappointed”

Just got back from 3weeks stay at villa casa Luciana dates 7th - 28th feb 2016, the lady who greeted us on arrival was very informative about the area. When looking around the villa however we were very disappointed with the furniture and fittings more so downstairs in the lounge ie: cushions missing from chair and some covers not fitting properly and stained. We also had damp patches on walls in hallway, kitchen and downstairs bedrooms. The TV kept going down regular for days, problem was showing box unpaid, on our 3rd week we had no power at all, which was only in this villa. The owner phoned and informed us that he was trying to resolve the problem, which lasted for 2 days,in the meantime the manager moved us to the villa next door. Outside on the terrace and pool area the banister rails was a concern due to rotting timber and loose support with our grandchildren around.
In all the villa was a good size for our party of 6 adults and 3 children, but money needs to be spent on maintenance work and update of decor and furniture.
Daniel the manager was always on hand when we called him about our problems and did what he could to help, ( thinking of putting him on our Xmas list ! )
This is the first time we have hired a villa and the experience as made us think twice before we do this again.

“Lovely villa, great views, good position, friendly team”
Reviewed 11 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

7 of us stayed here for a week, with age range 11 to 69.
Initial booking was easy and very informative.
Greeting on arrival was friendly although we were so tired we didn't take in all the information, in fact we never found the Hyperdino at all throughout the holiday.
Stunning views of Fuerteventura.
Nicely positioned villa with an amazingly warm pool.
Very clean, and when we had a problem with a shower not draining away, this was remedied in less than an hour by the maintenance team.
The pool table was enjoyed by a number of our party.
Having areas that were shaded as well as in full sun was excellent as this catered for all of us.
My Dad struggled a bit with the hill, although this was not steep, it did have an impact on him. It was also further to the main restaurants than we had thought, however, taxis were cheap and in plentiful supply. We still think this is better than hiring a car for 7 people and 1 person having to give up on a glass of vino each evening.
We would highly recommend the restaurant Sebastyan's which has amazing food, service and stunning sea views.
The climate in Lanzarote is less windy than Fuerteventura so we have all decided we would like to return next year, and will more than likely book this villa again if it is available.
If we had to find any negatives, then these would be very minor, perhaps towel rails in the bathrooms, and a more substantial shower curtain downstairs as the current one is not sufficient to stop the very powerful shower from spilling water all over the floor.
All in all, a fantastic holiday, thank you Laurentia, Daniel and Sylvia.

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful villa.
We traveled with 8 adults and 2 children, and there was more than enough space.
Daniel who met us and checked us out, was informative, friendly and generally really nice (as was the lady who changed our towels mid-week too).
Laurentia (villa owner?), was always on hand when i called and text before we went, with any questions I had.
Playa Blanca was lovely, and we really loved the Marina area for dining out.
Our favourite beach was the one straight down from the villa (rather than the one in Central Playa Blanca). It was much nicer and not so over looked by bars/shops.

All in all we would all highly recommend this place :-)

“Lovely villa! But not four bathrooms!”
Reviewed 13 February 2014 for a stay in February 2014

The Villa is spacious! Well equipped and very comfortable! The pool and hot tub are ideal for families and couples! This area of Lanzarote is the best! Brilliant restaurants and lovely walking! However, as a party of 8 adults! 4 couples we booked this villa because it advertised 2 family bathrooms and 2 en-suite! In fact it only has 1 family and 2 en-suite plus one toilet, so needless to say we were quite disappointed! After much searching for the right layout before we went to find it didn't have 4 bathrooms! A bit of a let down!

“AAA...MMAAA...ZZZZIIING!!!!!! AMAZING GORGEOUS VILLA”

This villa is out of this world!! And it is located in an absolutely beautiful area with an extremely pleasant and helpful manager and a lovely owner with which communication has been a pleasure.

I can honestly say hand on heart that the holiday we had at this villa in Playa Blanca has been the best holiday we have ever had.

It has LOADS of space, there are four bedrooms which are very comfortable; two of them have en-suites and the showers are unbelievable they're like power showers. There is a substantial dining room area with fantastic sea views, the really well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave etc...there's the washing machine and outside drying area, the massive lounge with two separate seating areas, a pool table, a huge TV with loads and loads of English channels, obviously the Swimming Pool area which is completely private, no one overlooks any area of the villa...then there's a separate barbecue area and my favourite outside space which is the upper terrace with a huge outdoor table and parasol with stunning sea views. The pool is a nice temperature and not freezing like other places I have stayed. An outdoor hot tub jacuzzi which again is amazing. There is a safe and the property is alarmed so you have peace of mind when you go out that your belongings are secure.

During our stay we had no reason to call on Daniel however I had complete confidence knowing that he would be there for any eventuality; our transfer from the airport to the villa was delayed and we ended up being a few hours instead of half an hour and Daniel waited for us knowing that we were going to be late and he met us with a smile; no complaints or grumbling. He was extremely helpful and he walked us through the villa pointing out everything we needed to know to have a wonderful holiday.

Other quick points to note:

The villa is absolutely spotlessly clean.
There are three towels per person, one outdoor, two indoor which are changed once per week.
There are taxis available either by phoning or can be found round the corner from the villa.
The sea front is a short walk away and the route is well lit and feels safe (not remote).
The sea front of Playa Blanca is the best I have seen EVER...it's a gorgeous place with loads of shops/restaurants. You can walk the length of the coastal front right up to the Rubicon Marina and it's a gorgeous walk with the clear green sea and golden sand. The walk is completely flat so no hills to climb. I personally think It's mainly a resort for families/couples. To get back to the villa it's a short walk or taxi ride costing around 4 Euros. We tended to have a nice walk down to eat/shop/visit the beach etc and then we would get a taxi back. One thing we weren't expecting is that prices in Playa Blanca for food aren't what I'd call cheap. It can be a bit pricey however given all the positives it wouldn't put me off going again. There are loads of restaurants and the ones we tried were really lovely.

I just can't rave enough. I will definitely be going to Playa Blanca again next time I go abroad ...I've been to Tenerife, Gran Canaria & Spain in the past and Playa Blanca stands head and shoulders above all of the others in my opinion.

I know I will have forgotten to mention some things but I think I'm happy with my review. I had an amazing family holiday and can't wait to go again :-)))

For those of you reading this review who decide to book. You'll have a great time I've no doubt about that.

Happy Hols :-)))))))
