“1 week stay in Feb 2014”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 July 2014

We stayed here for one week in February and had a great time. We booked half board and enjoyed the buffet style breakfast and dinner that was served. The room was ok and the balcony was huge. The housekeeping could have been better. Our sheets weren't changed very often. We weren't too far away from the beach and local amenities and enjoyed walking around getting to know Lanzarote!

We paid just under £900 for the two of us to stay for a week all inclusive at the H10 Lanzarote Princess including flights. Breakfast and dinner were excellent and there was plenty of food and drinks to choose from. Lunch was a bit weaker with a limited selection being offered with little variance throughout the week. With regards to the drinks, there was a pleasant surprise as many well known international alcoholic brands such as Bell's whisky, Malibu and Smirnoff were included in the all inclusive selection.

With regards to food, there is a buffet restaurant, an à la carte oriental-themed restaurant (not included in all-inclusive), a coffee shop, and a pool-side snack bar. The buffet restaurant is where you eat the majority of your meals and features a different variety of food for dinner every day with breakfast and lunch staying mostly the same. If you stay for a week or more, you get a voucher for a three course meal at the à la carte restaurant (Sakura) which is absolutely exceptional. Every single course was fantastic. We both went for the Chicken Tikka Masala for the main meal and both agreed it was one of the best we've ever had. Mike's Coffee (the coffee house) is a really nice touch and most drinks are included in the all-inclusive (the exceptions being frappuccinos and alike). Finally, the pool-side snack bar (La Choza) is quite handy when you get peckish in-between meals. They serve food like pizza, burgers, chips, salads, nachos etc throughout the day. Service was a bit slow here but you were always greeted with a smile.

The entertainment team were also lots of fun with activities such as water polo being a great sociable activity where people of all ages are encouraged to take part. Archery, rifle shooting and table tennis were also on offer to adults. Evening entertainment was dominated by external acts - usually some form of singing performance - which were pretty good. There was also plenty on offer for the kids but we didn't see much of these (not having kids ourselves). The staff, on the whole, were really nice and helpful!

The bedroom we stayed in was modern and clean with a view of the mountain. We wish we had a sea/ pool view but this wasn't the end of the world. Annoyingly, there are no double/ king size beds in the rooms even if you ask for a double room. Instead, you get two singles pushed together which share a head board. The beds are on wheels, however, so it makes it impossible to sleep close together unless you want to be sharing a single bed.

Pool towels are provided (€15 deposit each which is refunded at the end of your stay). Mini Shower gel, shampoo and toothpaste is all provided in the room also. A hairdryer is provided and a mini fridge. You have to pay extra for use of the safe.

All in all, a great stay which is well worth the money. There is plenty to do in the local area if you are more of the adventurous type - including boat trips to local beaches, day trips to Fuerteventura, trips to local markets and tours of the volcanos spread across the island. A walk down to the marina is strongly advised where they have a market on every Wednesday and Saturday. The hotel is also right next to the beach where a wide range of water activities such as Jet-Skiing and Parasailing can be done (if this is your kind of thing). Finally, there are also lots of Irish bars, supermarkets and restaurants in the local area should you want to eat or drink outside of the hotel.

Room Tip: Get a sea/ pool view room. These are South facing so you will get a much lighter room with a much be...

We stayed in this hotel the first week of July and after arriving at 12:30am after a long delay in the airport we had missed our evening meal and we're very hungry but the hotel and a cold dish meal of Spanish meats salad and fruit saved for us waiting in the restaurant which was a life saver!
The reception service was great always happy to help and suggest places to visit.
The rooms were lovely and clean, beds very comfy! We didn't eat dinner at the hotel as we were half board but wanted to try the restaurants around the marina, so we were giving the option to swap our evening meal for a lunch time meal in the buffet (within 24 hours notice) which we thought was great! Couldn't fault the breakfast loads of choice with fresh pancakes and omelettes made at request.
There were plenty of beds around the pool with lots of activitys going on. The only downside I think was that all the hotel is no cash, you just sign a receipt and then recurve a bill when checking out which meant it was hard to keep track of spendings.
Overall would defiantly recommend and visit here again.

There is much to commend hotel. Not everything is included in the All-inclusive deal and it is very clear what is and is not.... The food was generally very good- fresh cooked pancakes, omelettes, breads and croissants for breakfast as well as an excellent selection of hot food and cold meats etc. Lunch and evening meal - plenty of good choice. You get a free evening meal on the Oriental restaurant - delicious!!!!! There are snacks available all day - pizza, chips, baguettes, fruit etc. the room decor was a little tired but the bed was really comfortable, the aircon worked really well, the shower was good. The kids club looked superb but we didn't need it. The entertainment are really good. Loads of sunbeds - never had to put towels out in the morning as could always find beds. Many people do put towels out though.
A good book library for borrowing books....... We found loads of English books to read.... It is a 3/4 star hotel. Good location - beautiful sandy beach 200 yards away - water sports there. Good selection of shops bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Plenty of free car parking available. We thought it was good value for money.

We arrived on Tuesday the 1st of July. My sister and her husband and 4 yr old daughter arrived on the Sunday before and told us to go all inclusive. Well it was definitely the right decision. Food is amazing plenty of choice for me and my 7 yr old son and he is the fussiest child with food. All drinks cocktails spirits are all included. There is also a snack bar with chicken nuggets and chips hotdogs pizza burgers sandwiches and this all included Plus the kids could go and get ice cream whenever they wanted. Rooms are spotless and cleaned every morning we were room 24. Pool is fantastic two slides for the kids. Also daisy club available for the kids 10.30 - 12.30 then 3-5.30 and recently at night time it's open from 9-11 after the kids disco. The staff are so friendly especially in the daisy club. The one thing with the daisy club is that your children are well looked after they cannot leave till you come and sign them out. I seen lots happening for teenagers football scuba diving archery water polo. Plenty of beds around the pool. This is a fantastic hotel and I will definitely be returning.

My family and I went in November and we couldn't fault anything. The all inclusive is great, only one thing is that it only included local beer. Entertainment was okay, but live singer in Piano bar every night so you have a choice.

Myself, my husband and Grand-daughter aged 16 spent a week here 3rd-10th July 14, all inclusive First impressions - Reception very nice. We arrived at the Hotel about 12 noon, and were told the Room would not be ready until 3 pm. OK, so we'll go for lunch? Oh, no Lunch is from 1.30 pm, Off we go to Mike's Coffee Bar - beware, all of you paying for all-inclusive. The Coffee is in with the all inclusive price, but if you fancy a nice piece of cake (which we did), you find out when booking out, that Cake is payable. Our Grand-daughter had a Banana Milk shake - guess what? Payable.

Ice-creams? Cheap stuff free, but anything decent - payable.

Breakfast - lots of choice, but being Type 1 Diabetic (no not one of the thousands of Type 2, but the Genetic, injection type where you can relapse into Hypos, or Hypers (high sugar levels)) I looked for something sugarless, preferably Porridge or Weetabix. Lots of cereals, all sugared to the hilt. Enquired if Porridge was available, and although the gentleman was eager to please, I ended up with a (small) dish of cold yoghurt, sprinkled with uncooked oats, and "flavoured with Cinnamon" - very sweet. We therefore bought some Weetabix from the Supermarket.

Generally a lot of choice, but my favourite was my Weetabix, toast, then for lunch & dinner Mashed Potato with lots of other (sugarless!) meats & salads (very good).

Cleanliness in the Public Areas was very bad. While our Rep was talking to us, we could easily see the table-tops which were covered with ring marks from cups, glasses, smudges. Also furniture on the Room Balcony not wiped at all, although lots of cats perching on the chairs etc.

Swimming pool very, very cold. Not comfortable to swim in. Plenty of sunbeds, though, so there's a plus!!

Room cleaned & fresh towels regularly.

This Hotel is definitely not All-inclusive - hardly any food apparent in between meals, and what if you fancy a cup of tea?

Staff mostly pleasant and helpful, and work very hard.

Some people may be thrilled with this holiday, but we found it very disappointing.

Dear Customer,

first of all we would like to thank you for choosing our hotel.

We inform you that in every bar and restaurant is a menu which indicates what is including in the all inclusive service and what is not included.

Lunch time is from 13:30 to 15:30 in the main restaurant. The Snack La Choza is open 11 to 18:30, where you can also have lunch.

In Mike's Coffee drinks are almost all included, no pastry. Ice creams that are included are Nestle.

We hope to welcome you back!

Best Regards,

Virginia Peyrano
