We visited the villa for one week during September 2013 and can honestly say that it proved to be one of the most relaxing and comfortable villa holidays that we have enjoyed. The property is very well equipped, providing everything necessary for a great self catering holiday. All areas of the villa have been maintained to a high standard. We enjoy cooking whilst on holiday and the kitchen was easily up to our needs. Our favorite room was the enclosed dining area which is a wonderful place to eat and drink or simply relax on an evening.
Whilst the villa doesn't not have its own pool, it did not present a problem as the communal pool is right on the doorstep. This is large, clean and modern pool and was never busy during our stay. It isn't heated so be prepared. The villa is very close to the coast which has great views and a coastal path along the volcanic shoreline.
Faro Park is a quite area on the outskirts of the main resort and is suited for those wanting a quieter holiday. I suspect only the most enthusiastic hikers would find the distance easy to walk on a hot day. There is a regular bus service into Playa Blanca although we didn't make use of it. The shops, bars and restaurants in Faro Park are good for those wanting to stay local.
