I booked this for 3 adults and a 5 month old baby. On arrival it seemed nice. Clean reception. Went up to our room and we had 2 beds and no cot. We went back to reception only to be told we had to pay €140 to be in a room with 3 beds and a cot! We paid and the room we went into was lovely with amazing views and a jacuzzi. We were all inclusive. Food was good, a good selection. All inclusive should mean everything is included. No. The alcoholic drinks were limited. I drink Malibu so had to pay for every drink. Dinner was at set times too. You had to get there between 8pm-8.30pm or you simply weren't allowed your dinner. Also had to take a tatty piece of paper with you every time or you werent allowed in.
There was no adult entertainment at all. Not a thing and there are no bars or anything around the hotel. So it was really boring! There was only 1 other couple who could speak english in the hotel too. Mainly a spanish hotel. But it is right on the most beautiful beach and the sun beds cost €5 a day. There is a little hut where you can buy drinks. Half a lager
was about €2. If you are after a holiday where you want to sit on the beach all day then its perfect. If you want entertainment/fun and a bit of a laugh then id say book elsewhere. Overall it is a nice hotel. Extremely clean and the staff are lovely. Just a shame we arrived on a low and there was no adult entertainment.

Estimado jade w:

Atentamente,

I have just come back from here after a 2 week stay. To start with it was actually a lovely hotel, with its most attractive feature being set right on the beach! To be fair the hotel and beach setting itself was absolutely beautiful and I would stay there again (but only for a short stay), however you need to bear in mind like the other reviews say it was in the middle of nowhere haha! Despite this, me and my partner (im 20 and he's 31 had a wonderful time for our first holiday together.) There was a shop behind the hotel and also a supermarket just down the road. Also the nearby town, which is a 15-20 minute walk had another supermarket similar to like a Tesco or Asda - very handy. It did have small shops there to, and quite a few beach cafes, but I definitely would not advise it for "party groups" - it is more of just a pure relaxation type setting. There are bus links from the hotel, and also cities you can visit but I didn't bother as I just wanted to relax.

The hotel staff very friendly and polite, but could hardly speak ANY English, the same for the guests the majority were Spanish and I did find some of the other guests rude... but perhaps thats a Spanish thing? There was Entertainment all day long for the children, but again it was ONLY in Spanish so I would not bother taking children there.

The food was great, like the other reviews said, with plenty of choice but it was always served "warm" and i was happy to get back to the UK to have piping hot food! :)
The alcohol measurements were VERY strong, and that was all inclusive so you got your money's worth.

The pool was really big, and we had probably one of the best views from our room so that was one of the best bits. They were very clean and tidy.

Definitely visit again, as we said, but just bear in mind it's in the middle of nowhere LOL.

Room Tip: The right hand side of the hotel gives you the view of the pool and bar area, as well as a beautiful...

I currently live in the area but due to some personal matters I had to evacuate my house for a few days so booked In to this hotel.
I just say I was extremely pleasantly surprised. It doesn't look like much that is true. But it can't be all bad if it is as busy as it was.
Bad points. Yes it's just outside of the actual village so if you don't like waking or don't have a car well could become expensive in taxis.
The only other bad comment I can write is that the wifi is horrendous in the bedroom.
But.. The staff were extremely helpful in trying to find a solution for this.
Actually on pretty much everything they have been wonderful. Much better than some 4/5* hotels I have stayed in.

There is loads going on in the hotel at this time of year. The spa is great and the pool and loads of kids.
There's and park and you are literally seconds from the beach.

Great hotel and would like to say a great thank you to Manuel who was on evening shift and Raquel on morning shift at reception, they were run off there feet but at no point did they make me feel like my needs wernt important

Nice and clean hotel with superb sea views. But.....if you want to see anything other than the hotel and the beach, a car is essential, as the situation is poor. No shops, no bars, nowhere to walk to!
Also, worse thing for us was no tea and coffee making facilities in rooms.
Small, Russian supermarket about 100 meters away, which was useful to take a snack to your room if you didn't want to eat in the hotel, as apart from the beech bar, there were no cafés or restaurants within walking distance. However, if all you want is the beach and hotel food, then the venue is good.

Room Tip: Always ask for a sea view room with balcony

Apart from thinking that we couldn't find the Hotel because we were looking for Hotel Campomar we had one of the best experiences for a long time. The receptionist was fantastic when I asked for directions to the Hotel Campomar and said that we were in the right place because the Hotel had changed names. She took our booking form and told us to park the car, come in and go to our room and relax!
We did just that for the whole of the next week. The Hotel is very clean, the staff are very helpful and they actually appear to enjoy their jobs.
The Hotel is in a very quiet location and right on the beach. There is a Hotels bus which runs around the local hotels and in to Guardamar but it's only about a 20 minute walk either on the beach or along the road (a pedestrian and cycle way). The dining room is quite big and on the Saturday of our week because there were 1000 people in the Hotel they opened up the room even more and used all the food stations. They also opened up the terrace bar.
Toiletries were replenished during the week, the towels looked nearly new each time and the beds are enormous perfect for a good nights sleep !

Room Tip: I think all the bedrooms have a sea view but those on the higher floors have a view which is not obs...

THIS HOTEL FAR SURPASSED OUR EXPECTATIONS AS IT WAS SO CHEAP WE DID NOT EXPECT TOO MUCH IT WAS BRILLIANT. Nice room & bathroom, 2 adults one child in the room two double beds great. All public areas pleasant and food really good and very varied and diffent every day, only down side as previously stated on other review good have been hotter, but that apart the pool was nice and being right on the beach was brilliant when you have kids with you, could n't fault it for the price.

Room Tip: all rooms had at least parcial sea view or pool view so any one would be good
