The Park is very nice and loads of activities for the kids. However the following was really glaringly problematic.
Grill Restaurant :- Extremely overpriced 100 Euros for food that worst quality than harvester
Buffet Restaurant :- buy tickets for this before you arrive as this is also overpriced on the day, the serving staff for drinks are really slow and served me a drink in a broken glass.
Room Cleaning :- Only a cursory clean was done to the room before our arrival by the state of the floors there has been no hoovering done under any of the furniture loads of dust bunnies, we had to hoover at arrival.
Room Maintenance :- The Hob was broken which we reported on day one and it was repaired on day 3. The concrete BBQ fell over in a storm overnight on day 4 we reported it, but it was not reported by the time we left on day 7.
Aqua Mundo (Swimming Pool) :- The pool is great our kids loved it there are two smaller pools for small kids to enjoy, the lines for the slides are not massive, Be wary of the rapids slide as teenagers bundle down it without care of anyone else on the slide and there is no monitors watching for this so the kids get away with this and feel it's ok.
Drivers :- There are allot more cars allowed in the park during weeks than UK parks be wary of this.
The Park is also in the middle of nowhere, expect to be taking the car out for any trips anywhere, there is no public transportation links available.

Room Tip: Bring your own pillows, as theirs are useless and your only get one per bed.

we are staying at the park now, we checked in today. the process thought trying to be friendly is not. it is a huge place and moving around is not easy. as we were also early, it, at the end of the day, took a good piece of it.
there are facilities at the park. so far, the supermarket was highly priced and there is no way you can get your shopping to your room on foot - with a 6 pack of large bottle of water, toilet paper and basic food needs for a family breakfast - you simply cannot hand carry it.
for 200 Euros a night, I expect not to need to run back to the store (very far away) for salt....
the room itself is not clean. to say the least. I will not and will not let the family walk barefoot on the carpets. it is not a pleasant experience when 'things' stick to your foot. I moved the kids beds for better space management and the dirt under is archaeological. in my room it is full of sand.
I ordered the comfort package for bedding and towels. the towels will not be used, it is a shame, and I will buy some tomorrow somewhere. they are tiny and so overused.... they should be thrown away.
the bed rooms themselves are so small, you cannot open a suitcase on the floor.

cost performance it is one of the worst vacation deals I have ever made. the parks looks very nice, but everything cost and a lot. I have been to other parks, in Holland, and it was a much better experience.

I will ask them to clean the room tomorrow and hope that with some investment we can make it nicer for our vacation.

I will not come back here again.

Room Tip: try to be in a different park

We had a wonderfull time at the Eemhof which offers the perfect relaxing vacation for parents and great fun for kids. The staff is very nice and helpfull and altho there are many people during the summer, you don't even notice it because it is a very big place and well organized. If you do whish to meet people there are several spots where you can seat in the evenings and find easily interactions for the kids and parents. The parc is welcoming people of all age in a most beautiful place, at only 50 minutes from the airport and from Amsterdam. The cottages are very confortable and has a private outdoor-some of them are next to the water. There are water sports offered at the lake and a boat going to a charming little town very close.Great walks in the woods! We will defenitly come again. Thanks for a great vacation.

Room Tip: 4 person cottage

This was our first stay in a Dutch Center Parcs. Whilst there were many similarities to others on the continent and in the UK I felt it seemed a little old. The Water Parc facilities were not as elaborate or adventurous as others and the lack of an indoor sports hall was a shame.

We returned last week from 10 days in Center Parcs De Eemhof.
We had a big disappointment.
We had a VIP cabin. Although there is a sauna and whirlpool bath in the cabin, everything else in the cabin is at a very low standard. The cabin is old. Although it is stated that the cabin has been recently renovated, there were old furniture in the rooms and at the most basic level. The rooms are small. You can hardly walk between the wall and the bed. The kitchen is tiny and old and some of the cabinets are broken. The lamps barely give any light and some did not work at all. No water pressure at the shower. No shower curtain so that after taking a shower, the bathroom floor was full of water.
The cabin was far from being clean and was full of insects of various kinds, although there were protection nets on the windows.
The towels we received were at a very poor quality and also worn out. You need to pay for extra towels.
There is a general feeling that the public areas are not taken care of. Gardening or maintenance could improve the look.
The resort has an indoor pool - Aqua Mundo. This water park is open to the general public for a fee and it is free for those that are renting the holiday cabins. Because the Aqua Mundo is open to the public, it is over overcrowded throughout the day.
Disappointment.

Room Tip: Choos a different hotel.
